Human relationships are complicated; that is the understatement of the year. In a new interview, Danielle Jonas, the wife of pop star Kevin Jonas, reveals the complex views that she has of her sisters-in-law, Priyanka Chopra-Jonas and Sophie Turner.
Jonas Brothers stars Nick Jonas and Joe Jonas are married to Priyanka Chopra-Jonas and Sophie Turner, respectively.
Chopra and Turner are successful actresses and models. Turner starred in HBO’s series Game of Thrones and movies like X-Men: Apocalypse.
Danielle Jonas is an author, businesswoman, and influencer. Chopra, a former Miss World, has appeared in and starred in hit series like Quantico and the movies The Matrix Resurrections and The White Tiger.
During a sit-down on the LadyGang podcast, Danielle Jonas revealed that she cannot help but compare herself to her famous female relatives.
Danielle Jonas was very candid while discussing how the fact of not being famous is beneficial to her husband, who is one-third of one of the biggest boy bands in the world.
She confessed: “I am so different from him. It’s actually made it work even more because we’re not trying to fight for the celebrity part of it or whatever, but it is a love-hate. I feel like I am torn.”
The Married to Jonas star went on to confess that she is somewhat intimidated by Priyanka Chopra-Jonas and Sophie Turner’s fame and success.
She stated: “The two boys married somebody who, they’re actresses, they’re out there, everyone knows them. And I feel like I’m Danielle, and it’s hard. It’s also that I’m out there celebrity-wise because I’ve married you.”
Danielle Jonas’s husband defended her feelings by saying they are more than valid because he thinks that his brothers have done more with their lives.
She also shared: “And that’s where it’s like, ‘Oh, I wanna have something else to my name too.’ So that it feels … I don’t know, more than or like the other girls. ‘Cause then when I’m with the other girls, I feel just less than sometimes. It’s weird.”
Singer Kevin went to reassure his wife and said he often has similar feelings when it comes to his younger brothers.
The musician claimed: “I feel the same way with Nick and Joe, right? Like solo careers, movies, and all this stuff. It’s like everyone has to find their place … No matter the situation, right? You’ll always be compared to the women around you the most.”
The statement sparked a lot of conversations on social media.
