Prince William has some not-so-happy news for his wife, Kate Middleton, and many are wondering when will he tell her.
The bad news is that her dream mansion will be out of reach for many years. Since King Charles III ascended to the throne, he has joined his efforts with Prince William to evict two members of the Royal Family.
The King and heir to the throne were swift to boot Prince Harry from Frogmore Cottage. However, when they attempted to kick Prince Andrew from the Royal Lodge, they were met with resistance.
The plan was to boot Prince Andrew from the 30-room royal mansion and offer him Frogmore Cottage. Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children would leave Adelaide Cottage and move into the Royal Lodge.
Prince Andrew fought tooth and nail to remain in his beloved home. Sky News reported: “It is believed King Charles wants to move his brother from the Royal Lodge, which he lives in with ex-Sarah Ferguson, to the smaller Frogmore Cottage that was once inhabited by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle before they moved to the United States. The move from the monarch is widely understood to be related to Prince William, who is expected to one day relocate to the residence with Kate and their three children.”
A source explained during the royal rumble for the castle: “He is so fragile. He’s refusing to see anyone. This has been his family’s home for the past 20 years. Is it really sensible to kick him out? Andrew feared the knives were out. He’s worried the royals might even turn off the utilities to get him out of there. But we’re dealing with human beings, not real estate.”
Now it is being claimed that Prince William has pushed himself into a corner in this home debacle with his disgraced uncle.
Recently, the future King launched an initiative called Homewards to end homelessness in England.
According to a royal expert, it would be a PR nightmare and Prince William would look like a villain if news got out that he was still trying to evict his uncle from the home given to him by his late mother.
In the latest piece written by Camilla Tominey for the Telegraph, she explained why Kate Middleton and Prince William will never ever get the Royal Lodge: “William’s homelessness campaign finally scotches rumors that King Charles wants Andrew out of Royal Lodge so William and Kate can move in. Upgrading from the four-bedroom Adelaide Cottage in less than a year to Andrew’s 30-room mansion would be disastrous PR for the campaigning prince. Should Charles succeed in evicting Andrew, might the disgraced duke be rendered homeless and qualify for help from his nephew’s crusade?”
Poor Kate Middleton, she is stuck in her humble abode and is not getting her dream castle anytime soon because of Prince Andrew and Prince William’s choices.
