About six months later, Rihanna performed at the Super Bowl, where she revealed that she was pregnant with her second child.
As the artists are busy growing their family, rumors have been running wild, claiming that marriage is in the cards. Some reports went as far as saying that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were already married after the pair arrived at the Met Gala dressed as husband and wife.
It has been claimed that Rihanna and her beau were planning a lavish event in California, with their long list of celebrity friends attending the event.
However, other insiders say that things have changed, and the power couple has opted to have the wedding in Barbados. Rihanna was born on the island, and A$AP Rocky’s father is Barbadian.
A source, who spoke to Us Weekly, revealed that Rihanna and her baby daddy are not yet engaged, but they have had serious conversations about marriage.
Moreover, the duo does plan to get married because they want to spend their lives together. The insider claimed: “They’ve talked about getting married down the line. [They] both think of each other as the one they’re going to spend the rest of their life with.”
The media outlet noted that Rihanna has decided their wedding ceremony will be non-traditional. The couple has made it clear to their entourage that they should expect the unexpected.
Us Weekly shared: “Rocky and Rihanna are also unlikely to follow a traditional route. In fact, their marriage plans could change at the drop of a hat and even their inner circle may be kept on their toes.”

Earlier this year, Rihanna did an interview with British Vogue where she gushed about A$AP Rocky’s amazing bond with their son, RZA.
Rihanna told the publication: “We’re best friends with a baby. Their connection is undeniable. The second Rocky makes eye contact with him he is on fire. The whole thing they say about sons and moms, it’s a myth. Sons and fathers is crazy. I realized that the validation that you really need as a boy is from your father.”
