Many believe it is something, while others claim that it is nothing between Eminem’s daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, and her fiancé, Evan McClintock.
According to a report that surfaced via Page Six, it is claimed Evan McClintock and his future wife, Hailie Jade Scott, were spotted in Chicago for Metro Boomin’s performance on Friday night.
Eyewitnesses told the media outlet that the couple arrived with a large group of friends to watch the show. During the soirée, the pair hinted that there was trouble in paradise.
A source told the publication that there were very few interactions between the lovebirds. It was a long night, and the couple barely talked to each other.
However, they appeared to have conversations with their pals. An insider stated: “Hailie arrived with her fiancé and five or six friends before Metro Boomin came on stage. She sat between two of her girlfriends, and Evan stood on the other side of the table in the VIP section of the club.”
The media outlet went on to reveal: “While the pair may have been spending time with their respective friends, the insider notes that it seemed odd that they only exchanged a few words with each other over the course of several hours.”
The person, who was at the show, stated that Hailie Jade Scott did not look very happy. The eyewitness added: “She didn’t seem to be in very high spirits.”
Evan McClintock and Hailie Jade Scott have been dating for about six years. In early 2023, the pair announced that they had gotten engaged with McClintock revealing that he asked Eminem his permission before getting down on one knee to pop the question.
Hailie Jade Scott, the host of the Just A Little Shady, podcast sat down with Evan McClintock to talk about the special moment that took place on her birthday which falls on Christmas Day.
McClintock said that he was working on the proposal since the summer of 2022, but he decided to wait for Scott’s birthday.
He shared: “Over the holidays, I was looking for an opportunity not to make it too obvious. I saw your dad go downstairs, and I’m like, ‘I gotta do it right now, or I’m not doing it today, and I’m gonna have to schedule another time.”
He continued: “So I just followed him downstairs, and, thankfully, he was just down there getting your cake, and I made it happen.”
Supporters believe the pair were having a complicated day and needed some time to work things out.
