Man, Who Spent $15K To Transform As A Dog, Says His Family Is Surprised By His Choice

Toco, The Human Dog Japan

Is it a man, or is it a dog? It is both. The Japanese man, known only by the name “Toco, the human dog,” has taken another major step with his life-altering experience.

Toco has been unleashed on the streets of Japan. Taking to social media, the Japanese man revealed that he has fulfilled his long-held dream of being a dog and is out in the real world.

He shared a video shot in a park that shows Toco dressed in his realistic canine costume interacting and playing with humans and other dogs.

In the five-minute video, Toco, the human dog, behaved perfectly like a four-legged fur fiend. Humans play with him, pet him, and caress his fur.

At first, the dogs appeared fearful or suspicious and took some time to smell Toco’s fur. However, eventually, even the other animals enjoyed being around Toco.

In the caption, he explained that the clip was filmed in 2022, but it is only now that he feels comfortable enough to share it with the world.

Toco, the man, who wears a hyper realistic collie, wrote: “Thankfully, I received permission to use the videos, so I am releasing them to the public! On the day of the interview, they were very kind to me.”

The world discovered Toco in 2022 after he confessed that he had transformed himself into a canine. In multiple videos on his popular YouTube channel, Toco documents his transformations.

He also explained what pushed him to make the decision to become a canine and how much money he spent to make this surprising dream a reality.

Toco said that he paid the company, Zeppet, 2 million yen, or around $15,700, to create the costume. Toco confessed that it was always his childhood fantasy to be a pet.

Toco explained: “I most enjoy doing things that only dogs do because it makes me feel like a proper pet. Since childhood, I have had this unspecific fantasy of becoming an animal. I wonder whether it was a desire for transformation.”

He also enjoys eating fake dog food. In one video, he confessed that no one in his entourage, including family, friends, or coworkers, knows that he transforms into a dog in the privacy of his home.

Toco told the Mirror: “I rarely tell my friends because I am afraid they will think I am weird. My friends and family seemed very surprised to learn I became an animal.”

Many applaud Toco while others claim it is bizarre.
