It seems King Charles III just had a date open up in his busy schedule because that rumored meeting with Prince Harry without his wife, Meghan Markle, is not happening.
There were a few surprises from California this weekend: a hurricane, an earthquake, and the news that Montecito royal Prince Harry was flying to London for a meeting with King Charles.
According to a report that surfaced via OK! Magazine, King Charles, who has set up a big meeting with Prince William and Kate Middleton, had also planned a sit-down with Prince Harry in September.
His Majesty was ready to let bygones be bygones and start peace talks with his youngest son. In the past three years, the power couple and the British royals have been at war.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took part in bombshell interviews and made incendiary accusations in a Netflix series and the memoir Spare.
The Royal Family responded by leaking damaging information about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. However, an unidentified source told OK! Magazine that His Majesty wanted to have a tête-à-tête with his son.
The source told the media outlet: “King Charles is due to return to London from Balmoral in the middle of September, which ties in with the end of Harry’s Invictus Games trip to Düsseldorf.”
The date of the meeting was revealed via the insider, who claimed: “The king has a rescheduled official visit to France on Sept. 20, so [he] has a few days to spare in London to meet with his son. Staff are trying to fine-tune the details as we speak.”
The media outlet went on to reveal that Meghan Markle has been snubbed once more because King Charles has not invited her to the sit-down.
According to the magazine, His Majesty has a list of topics he plans to discuss with Prince Harry.
The King is said to be furious at Prince Harry’s decision to insult Queen Camilla in Spare and during promotional interviews for the book.
Prince Harry claimed Queen Camilla “sacrificed me on her personal PR altar.” OK!’s source explained that King Charles has a list of demands for Prince Harry in order for peace to return to the family.
The King wants Prince Harry to stop talking about the Royal Family’s secret.
The source shared: “If the talks take place, the king will make it very clear that there will be absolutely no private family business discussed in public moving forward.”
Prince Harry and his wife have shut down the rumor. Sussex sources told The Post the report of the meeting is false.
