As Steve Harvey was trying to enjoy some downtime, he was hit with a long list of drama and rumors.
The comedian was a trending topic on Twitter after reports claimed his wife, Marjorie Elaine Harvey, or Marjorie Bridges, was cheating.
The chatter claimed that Marjorie Harvey cheated with Steve Harvey’s bodyguard and personal chef. Moreover, Marjorie Harvey had also filed for divorce and had plans to leave with most of the TV host’s $280 million fortune.
Steve Harvey has decided to address the cheating scandal head-on while attending an event on Sunday night. The 66-year-old comedian and Family Feud host said there was no infidelity and that his marriage is doing just fine.

He said: “I don’t know what y’all doing, but find something else to do because we are fine… I ain’t got no time for rumors and gossip.”
The actor said that he has the urge to curse the people who started the mean rumor about his private life.
He added: “Is it any surprise that I wake up grateful and happy every day?”
Marjorie Harvey took to Instagram to speak about the accusation that she has been sleeping with other men by writing: “My husband and I don’t usually stop to address all the foolishness and lies that have been spread about us. However, to whom much is given much is required. I understand that with my platform comes some sort of responsibility to those who may not be as strong as we are. Read and share this with your loved ones that may not know how to properly cope. God Bless all of you 🙏🏾😍”
In the same response, Steve also opened up about the post that a staffer had posted on his account, asking his followers to name the comedian that they did not find funny at all.
The media personality stated: “Somebody who works for me on my Twitter put a statement out that was totally negative. I gotta take responsibility for it ’cause they work for me. But the engagement was talking about ‘name a comedian you don’t think is funny.’ Why would I do something like that?”
Steve Harvey posted a video to apologize for a since-deleted post shared on his Twitter account asking his millions of followers to name the “comedian that they didn’t find funny at all.”
He slammed the staff member who wrote the tweet. Steve Harvey added: “That doesn’t even make any damn sense. My whole brand is to be motivational, and I’m gonna turn around and say something like that? You don’t know where these young people are in their careers, man. They could be coming up or anything. I’m all about positivity. I would’ve never done anything like that.”
He concluded by: “I’m so pissed off right now, man, talking’ about, ‘I was trying to get some engagement.’ Okay, okay, you trying to get some employment, too…Now I gotta come on here and take a damn selfie. So here it is: I’m sorry, man. My bad, y’all. Won’t happen again though.”
Some observers say that the couple might have to come out with stronger denials to push the cheating allegations aside.
