It is the divorce that no one saw coming. Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are going their separate ways after four years of marriage.
TMZ has confirmed that the singer is exploring all options for his family at this moment. Joe Jonas and his team have met with attorneys in Los Angeles to decide on the next steps of his life.
A source told Page Six: “Joe is exploring the best options for his future.”
PEOPLE confirmed that Joe Jonas has retained a divorce lawyer. According to several media outlets, the power couple has been going through a very difficult patch for the past six months.
There are no reports of cheating, but it appears that Jonas and The Game of Thrones actress no longer see eye to eye.
It has been revealed that the British actress has moved away from her children. The pair share two daughters, Willa who is 2, and another little girl born in July 2022 whose name has not yet been revealed.
To announce the happy news they were expecting a second child, the couple did an interview with PEOPLE where Joe Jonas revealed: “You really don’t know what to expect. I think [I’m] maybe a little less nervous [this time], but I’m just excited. It’s such an amazing part of life. It’s been amazing to be a dad and to learn every day more about myself and what that’s like. [We’re] living in a new city, and it’s a very exciting time. I’m very much looking forward to the future.”
Joe Jonas said he has been inspired by his brothers and the way they handle fatherhood.
He shared: “It’s beautiful to see Kevin as a dad many more years than us and to see how he’s done it. It’s really amazing. He’s always prioritized getting home as soon as he could.”
Sophie Turner added: “It’s what life is about for me — raising the next generation. We’re so excited to be expanding the family. It’s the best blessing ever.”
Joe Jonas has been the one caring for the two children, even when he is on the Jonas Brothers tour with Kevin and Nick Jonas.
In the past months, the pop star has been spotted on multiple occasions without his wedding ring. Many fans suspected that something was wrong when Sophie Turner failed to show up at her husband’s concerts.
Over the summer, the couple also made the surprising move to sell the multi-million dollar home in Miami, just one year after purchasing it.
