King Charles Revisits Prince Harry’s Biggest Hits And Drops Him Like A Hot Potato

So much for the endless rumors claiming that King Charles III has left his doors open or has an open invitation for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and his two grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet.

His Majesty made it clear this week that he has no time for his younger son. For weeks, royal experts and close friends of His Majesty have been using the same talking points: King Charles loves Prince Harry and wants to see him despite all that has transpired in the past three years.

Sources told The Daily Beast and Vanity Fair that His Majesty will always have a place in his heart for Prince Harry.

An insider told VF: “Charles is a forgiving person by nature, and he wants to move on. Whatever has been said and done, Harry is still his son and he loves him.”

Friends of the King claimed that while he was initially hurt by what Prince Harry said about Queen Camilla, he still had some weakness for his son.

Some royal insiders even hinted that some royal reconciliation was set to take place. Royal commentator Robert Jobson agreed that peace talks between King Charles and his son were likely to happen.

Jobson said: “I do see that conversations with the King [may happen] eventually because a father will forgive most things and he will love them equally.”

The chatter ran loud and clear: King Charles would meet with Prince Harry during an upcoming trip to Europe. Next week, Prince Harry will be in Germany for the Invictus Games and will fly to London to take part in a charity event.

However, it seems that after King Charles revisited some of Prince Harry’s biggest hits via the interviews, his memoir, the Netflix Heart of Invictus miniseries, he has concluded that no such meeting will take place.

According to the Daily Mail: “But a palace insider said the King had ‘no time in the diary’ to see his son, while his brother Prince William is not thought to have been in touch with Harry for months.”

The media outlet also revealed: “It is understood that an invitation to the Royal Family’s annual summer get-together at Balmoral was not extended to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex this year.”

The last straw for King Charles could have been when Prince Harry made this confession in his latest docuseries: “The biggest struggle for me was that no one around me really could help. I didn’t have that support structure, that network, or that expert advice to identify what was actually going on with me.”

Prince Harry and his father have not made any real progress in the past year.
