Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian is now at home resting with her husband, Travis Barker. The reality TV star has decided to give her millions of followers an update after having a major health scare.
According to a source who spoke to the well-respected PEOPLE Magazine, the mother of three is doing better but is scared after the medical emergency.
The person in the know told the media outlet: “[Kardashian] was very scared after finding out that her baby needed surgery.”
The insider claimed the influencer did not want to reveal the heartache to her entourage. The friend revealed: “She didn’t want to talk about what was going on.”
Last week, Travis Barker announced that his band had to cancel the Europe tour because of a family health emergency. He flew back to California to be with his wife, who was hospitalized and needed urgent fetal surgery.
Days later, photos showed a brave yet worried Kourtney Kardashian leaving the hospital with her spouse. She later penned a message explaining her stressful situation.
The businesswoman also stated that she is grateful that the procedure went well and that the fact that her baby boy is healthy is a blessing.
Kardashian wrote: “Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing.”
Kourtney Kardashian used the opportunity to thank the medical staff who performed the life-saving surgery on her baby.
She also showed gratitude to her mother, Kris Jenner, for being present in her time of need.
The mom of three stated: “I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock. And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.”
Travis Barker also penned a message to thank the people who sent him prayers and wishes during the difficult moment. He also announced that the tour is back on.
The rocker stated: “God is great. I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I’m so grateful went well. I want to say thank you for all the support. Tour resumes Friday.”
In a recent Instagram post, Kardashian hinted that she was eight months pregnant and was looking forward to welcoming her fourth child into the world.
