While married, Spears pushed the envelope with topless clips and bikini-clad videos. Now that she is single, liberated, and emancipated from her mother, Spears has no limits.
This week, the pop princess went a bit further than before: she uploaded a video that was filmed in her tub. In the clip, Britney Spears appears to have no clothes on as she soaks in the tub.
Spears played with her hair and flashed a huge smile in a large mirror in the bathroom.
At one point, Spears fixed her breasts as she chewed gum and continued filming from another angle.
Her caption read: “Playing in the tub 🛀🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🙄 !!!”
The steamy video comes hours after it was revealed that there has been a hesitant conversation about Britney Spears taking part in a major interview to promote her upcoming memoir, The Woman in Me, which will be released in October.
According to sources, who spoke to Page Six, Spears’s team is mulling over the idea of her taking part in a big sit-down on a program like 60 Minutes.
However, they are afraid of some of the topics that might be discussed, including her recent divorce from Sam Asghari, her scandalous Instagram posts, her court battle against her father, Jamie Spears, to terminate her conservatorship, and her estrangement with her two sons — Sean Preston and Jayden James.
A source told Page Six that Spears is her own person and will do what she wants. The media outlet reported: “She’s a free woman. She’ll decide. It’s her choice.”
The source added: “She’s had offers, and she doesn’t want to do anything; she has no desire to do interviews after having her mental health, sexuality, parenting, and body image constantly scrutinized. They have not been fair to Britney.”
An insider previously told the news outlets that “no topic was off limits” in her upcoming book. Many believe that Jamie Spears, Justin Timberlake, and Kevin Federline will be scrutinized in the book.
This week, Spears took to social media to say she has so many stories to tell, but she is keeping some for a rainy day.
Her cryptic Instagram message read: “There’s so much I’ve kept private that’s gone on with me personally and maybe one day I can let people know … until then, there’s 3 sides to every story! Your side, my side, and the truth!”
Spears is totally free and her own woman.
