Sophie Turner is telling her soon-to-be ex-husband that the two can definitely play the game of spreading humiliating stories about each other.
Soon after the confirmation of Joe Jonas‘s divorce from Sophie Turner, there were a massive number of leaked stories online, all of which painted the actress in a bad light.
She was accused of being a bad mother who abandoned her children and moved to London to party. There were also claims that her wild nights with friends had taken a toll on her marriage with Jonas.
There was even a story saying that Jonas heard inappropriate words from Turner on a ring camera that made him understand that the romance was over.
Another baffling claim was that the Game of Thrones actress wanted to move to her native England, while Jones was happy living in America.
In court documents, Turner made sure that Jonas’s words came back to bite him in the derrière. A deeply personal letter from Jonas to the owner of a stunning £7.5 million ($9 million) estate in Wallingford, Oxford, revealed his plans to move from the US and make England his forever home.
The Jonas Brothers member wrote to the seller: “When my wife and I decided we were going to spend more time in the UK and search for a permanent home, our daughter expressed three unwavering requirements: having chickens, a pony, and a Wendy’s house.”
He added: “While many of the houses we viewed met these criteria, the moment we turned the corner and caught sight of the charming blue shutters adorning [redacted], we experienced a sense of magic, unlike anything we had felt before.”
He went on to say that his father-in-law signed off on the mansion. Jonas continued: “My father-in-law is an incredibly keen gardener, and he was suitably impressed by your vegetable garden too, a very important sign-off!”
He confirmed that the property would become their forever home by writing: “We could tell that your family has truly loved living here, and we can envision our children growing up here and making this our forever home. I really think Sophie and I will be able to look after [redacted names] and for many years pay homage to the magic you have created here.”
Sophie Turner is using the letter to paint the picture that Miami was no longer their main residence and that the divorce filing should be dismissed in the state of Florida.
Turner explained that all of their belongings have been shipped to Wallingford, Oxford and they have already found schooling for their young daughters.
A source close to Jonas slammed Turner’s claim by telling Page Six: “Residency is a legal term, and that is how the courts will define it. The residency includes things like where you have your driver’s license, where you vote, where your kids go to school, and where you last lived as a family for a significant period of time (specifically 6 months). There is no place the family lived for 6 months or longer other than Florida.”
The two sides plan to fight this all the way.
