This year, Prince Harry has been to London three times, and Meghan Markle has decided to remain in California with their children, Archie and Lilibet.
Reports have surfaced claiming that while Prince Harry is looking for détente with King Charles III and the possibility of having an apartment in London, Meghan Markle is said to not be interested in being in the UK.
It seems that the media might have gotten the story wrong, according to one royal expert and author. In the latest episode of his royal program, Neil Sean revealed that Meghan Markle is returning to London because she has a valid and emotional reason to do so.
According to the commentator, Markle wants to visit an important statue dedicated to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
In 2021, the warring brothers came together briefly to unveil the statue of Diana, Princess of Wales, at Kensington Palace. It seems that Markle and Kate Middleton have yet to discover the tribute in a public setting.
However, rumors claimed Prince William and his family had privately visited the bronze homage to his mother. According to former Fox writer Neil Sean, Markle wants to seek guidance and comfort at the feet of the statue.
He explained: “But according to a very well-placed source, I can say she is returning here and would simply like to do so very shortly. Because, as we know, Prince Harry has openly spoken about still speaking to his mother every day, and I’m not mocking that. I know a lot of people do reach out to people just for guidance, you know, and perhaps it sort of gives you a little bit of comfort, doesn’t it?”
The expert believes Markle will be in London to get guidance from Prince Harry’s mother. He shared: “But Meghan, you see, wants to return to visit the statue that was unveiled alongside the Prince of Wales, Prince William, and of course his younger brother, Prince Harry, about two years ago. Now apparently she’d like to look at the statue on a personal level with some private me-time to ask for some guidance.”
Markle said in the Netflix documentary that she has visited Princess Diana’s grave site and reflected on her life.
The expert went on to say: “Now this isn’t the first time she’s asked for guidance from the late and beautiful Princess Diana, if you recall, she spoke about that. And Harry did in his book basically say that when she went to visit her grave, she just literally had a few moments alone and asked for, oh, whatever guidance on how to manage Harry and make sure her marriage is successful; now what’s the betting? But this is something that Meghan wants to do in earnest.”
The Sussexes have different narratives going on simultaneously.
