While the Royal Family nor Prince Harry might never reveal who made racist comments about his and Meghan Markle‘s unborn children, other embarrassing words said in private are being exposed.
When Prince Harry released his historical and best-selling memoir Spare, there was a lot to dissect. The Duke of Sussex decided to reveal everything that had been burdening his chest, heart, and mind for the past 38 years.
By sharing his pain and suffering, Prince Harry, whether deliberately or not, destroyed King Charles III‘s image. He turned Prince William‘s world upside down and did a hit job on Queen Camilla.
Kate Middleton‘s reputation was also questioned after the publication of Spare. Going over the pages of Spare and reexamining Prince Harry’s revelation, Express picked up on an interesting passage that revealed Prince William made a comment about Markle that irked Prince Harry.
The former soldier wrote that he felt that his brother was comparing his then-girlfriend to a criminal or felon. Prince Harry claimed in his book that Prince William told him: “She’s an actress, after all, Harold. Anything can happen.”
Prince Harry went on to share: “One day, sitting together in his garden, he’d predicted a host of difficulties I could expect if I hooked up with an ‘American actress’, a phrase he always managed to make a sound like a ‘convicted felon.'”
The Duke of Sussex also revealed in the personal tome that Prince William was always “discouraging” about him even “dating” Meghan Markle, let alone marrying her.
Prince Harry wrote: “It’s too fast, he’d told me. Too soon.” During his appearance in the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, Prince Harry spoke about the brutal comments his family made when they discovered Markle’s identity, career, and nationality.
He confessed: “I remember my family first meeting her and being incredibly impressed. Some of them didn’t quite know what to do with themselves. Because, I think, they were surprised. They were surprised that a ginger could land such a beautiful woman and such an intelligent woman.”
He added: “But the fact I was dating an American actress was probably what clouded their judgment more than anything else at the beginning. ‘Oh, she’s an American actress; this won’t last.'”
Many royal experts say Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not yet done talking about the royals.
Royal commentator Andrew Lownie told The Daily Beast: “Harry is a loose cannon and Meghan even more so. They both have more books coming.” Tom Bower pointed out to the chatters that Markle is writing a powerful memoir in which she will share all of her story.
He said Markle’s memoir would be “another record like Prince Harry’s but more powerful.”
If Prince Harry or Meghan Markle write another book, they might reveal who made that racist comment about Archie and Lilibet after all — because it might be the biggest bombshell they are dangling over the royals.
