It will soon be four years since Prince Harry and his spouse, Meghan Markle, decided to leave England. The pair have made Montecito, California their home.
Markle and the former soldier are raising their young children, Archie and Lilibet, in an atmosphere away from the public eye.
They have launched multiple controversial and somewhat contradictory businesses by collaborating with Netflix, Spotify, and Apple.
While the family is well-settled in California, Prince Harry feels that something is missing in his life. It has been revealed that Prince Harry feels that he needs to stay in touch with his British roots.
He also wants his children to know their second country and be able to meet their royal relatives. Prince Harry has hinted that he is open to the idea of King Charles III possibly offering him and his family an apartment in London.
There was one issue with the story. For a moment in time, it looked like Markle had zero interest in ever going to the UK.
This year, Prince Harry visited his home country on three occasions, while Markle decided to remain in California. Parts of the media screamed that she was proving that she was uncomfortable in England.
Others claimed she does not want to bow to Kate Middleton, and she fears King Charles III and Queen Camilla‘s reactions after the bombshell revelations that she and Prince Harry made via their various projects.
Turns out, Markle still has a major love for England, and she sang her support for the country where her husband was born during a recent event.
In the latest episode of his daily show, royal expert Neil Sean claimed that at a recent Hollywood event, Markle surprised many by openly showing love to the United Kingdom by singing the national anthem.
The former Fox News writer told viewers: “According to a very good source who met Megan recently at that Kevin Costner first responder party, Megan learned the national anthem. Is it a case though of all too little, too late? When would she be required to sing said national anthem? But according to that very well-placed source, she was very keen to show off this particular skill.”
While some stories should be taken with a grain of salt, some royal backers say Markle could return to London for the happiness of her children.
Maybe she wants her children to love both America and the UK. Archie and Lilibet celebrate the Fourth of July every year, so there is a possibility that they have learned the British national anthem and have become familiar with the country’s culture and traditions.
