While Thanksgiving has yet to hit the calendar, it is claimed that Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have been busy, like millions of families, making plans for Christmas.
One royal expert, who seems to have some insider knowledge about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex‘s agenda, claims this holiday season, King Charles III will be once again left out in the cold.
In an interview with the Mirror, royal expert and historian Dr. Tessa Dunlop explained that Prince Harry and his spouse will turn down the annual invitation to spend the year-end festivities at Sandringham House.
The King has decided to keep up with Queen Elizabeth II‘s beloved tradition of having the entire Royal Family at the castle for Christmas.
Kate Middleton, Prince William, and their three children, Queen Camilla and her family, along with Princess Ann, are expected to join the King for the holiday ritual.
According to the experts, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will decline the olive branch to be with the royals this year. It is believed that, like previous years, they will stay in California for a warm and sunny Christmas.
If Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not traveling to England, it implies that King Charles will not get a loving Christmas hug from his two grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet.
The royal pundit told the media outlet: “Christmas is coming, and we want Meghan and Harry to inject the Windsor brand with a bit of transatlantic tension. But don’t hold your breath, just as Harry was a no-show at Balmoral this summer, it is unlikely that he’ll grace Sandringham with his presence. Far from buying a penthouse near London, it doesn’t even look like King Charles will get a Christmas cuddle with those absent grandchildren.”
The royal commentator went on to say that Prince Harry’s decision to skip the holiday trip to London implies that they will not lean on King Charles for a home.
Rumors have been flying high claiming that Prince Harry is hunting for a house in the UK because he misses his home country and is desperate for his children, Archie and Lilibet, to connect with their British roots.
Dunlop also stated: “The Sussexes are going house-hunting in and around London, at least so goes the rumor. Despite his father owning more homes than you or I have hot dinners (try counting them), by all accounts, Harry’s mooted return to the UK will not see him lean on his father’s estate.”
The Sussexes are having trouble deciding how to handle the Royal Family.
