The surprise romance of the year is Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris. The soccer star and the actress went public with their relationship earlier this month.
However, some reports suggest that the women had a love connection for several months. It is believed that Harris and Bush’s ten-year friendship blossomed into something more in June while attending the same event in Cannes, France.
The pair appeared very friendly and even flirty with each other during a panel discussion on feminism at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris stepped out for dinner recently and more or less announced their romance to the world. A source from inside their social circle told PEOPLE: “After being friends for years, and running in the same social circles, Sophia and Ashlyn went out on their first dinner date a couple of weeks ago. This is so recent, and they are both beginning new chapters.”
Another person in the know went on to say the rumors of cheating were fabricated. In September, Harris filed for divorce from her wife, Ali Krieger.
The soccer players share two children. In August, Sophia Bush split from her husband, Grant Hughes. The source went on to reveal: “Although it’s new information to the public, Ashlyn and Ali’s divorce began months ago, and they have been living apart since the summer. There is no salacious story when it comes to Sophia and Ashlyn’s recent coupling, though the public may want there to be.”
Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris might have to work harder to make these cheating allegations go away.
Ali Krieger took to Instagram this week to rattle her ex and her new lady love. She used Beyoncé to hint that Harris and Bush had cheated.
The athlete announced that she is in her “Beyoncé lemonade era.” The mom of two wrote: “Preparing for playoffs while in my Beyoncé lemonade era.”
Beyoncé’s album Lemonade was an ode to the many ways Jay-Z broke her heart by cheating on her. If it was not clear enough, Ali Krieger’s brother dropped a comment that appears to confirm that his former sister-in-law was unfaithful.
Hairstylist Kyle Krieger commented: “Love you and so proud of you!! These hoes ain’t loyal!! But me and your fans are!”
He shared the lyrics from Beyoncé‘s song “Don’t Hurt Yourself” saying, “This is your final warning, you know I give you life. If you try this s*** again, you gone lose your wife.”
Erin Foster made the bombshell revelation this week that then-boyfriend Chad Michel Murray cheated on her with Sophia Bush.
Erin Foster appeared on The World’s First Podcast with her sister, Sara Foster, who asked about the cheating scandal involving the One Tree Hill actor.
Sara Foster asked: “You’ve actually dated like a lot of celebs. In [the DeuxMoi post], it said, ‘And he apparently cheated on her with Sophia Bush.’”
Erin Foster responded by: “I mean, yeah. He definitely did cheat on me with her, in like, a pretty egregious way. While we were living together. Pretty cool. I’ve moved on. I’m over it now. I mean, just barely. Just barely over it.”
Bush is not addressing the allegations.
