For those who wanted to be a fly at King Charles III‘s birthday party, that wish has been granted. The Monarch is set to celebrate a major milestone; on November 14, he will turn 75 years old.
It has been revealed that he received a royal snub from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who declined his invitation to the event.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have issued an official statement saying that King Charles never reached out and has not invited them to the family gathering.
However, when the King marked his 70th birthday with a lavish birthday party at Buckingham Palace, it was a real family affair, with both of his sons by his side.
Years later, footage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hastily leaving a garden party went viral, leading to many wild theories.
It was claimed that there was tension at the event, according to royal commentator Lady Colin Campbell, who claimed that Markle was “bored.”
She said: “A household name with impeccable palace connections allegedly told me that something happened at the very first garden party at Buckingham Palace to celebrate Prince Charles’s 70th birthday.”
Other royal watchers claimed that Markle and Prince Harry had been escorted out of the party. However, this week, a lip-reader revealed the truth of what was said at the lavish bash.
The professional lip-reader spoke to The Daily Mail after carefully reexamining the footage and breaking down the conversation between King Charles and the Sussexes as follows: “King Charles then said to Prince Harry, ‘We are going now, We have to leave”, to which Prince Harry replied, ‘You go ahead.'”
His Majesty said, “We will go now, see you later”, and Prince Harry said in response, “Yes, catch up after.”
The lip-reader said there “definitely wasn’t any angst” between the trio. The expert went on to reveal that Meghan Markle was overheard talking to a guest and complimenting her necklace.
It has now been confirmed that there has been no communication between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and King Charles for over a year.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be attending King Charles’s upcoming birthday event.
It was reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle turned down King Charles’s invitation, but a spokesperson for the Montecito couple issued this statement to The Messenger: “In response to UK media headlines, there has been no contact regarding an invitation to His Majesty’s upcoming birthday. It is disappointing The Sunday Times has misreported this story.”
Additionally, a royal source told the media outlet that Buckingham Palace “never reached out” to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
