Prince Harry has defended himself by saying that he will do what is morally right for his father, King Charles III, as he has always done.
However, members of the Royal Family, including Queen Camilla, Kate Middleton, and Prince William, were baffled by him.
Ahead of King Charles’s big birthday celebration, a lot of ink was spilled about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle snubbing His Majesty by declining his invitation.
However, Prince Harry and Markle were quick to issue a statement denying the story. Via their spokesperson, the powerful pair said they have not spoken to King Charles in months and have not been invited to the event.
A source close to Prince Harry went on to confirm that despite all that has occurred between Prince Harry and his father — he plans to do what is morally right for the King.
The insider revealed that Prince Harry will reach out to his father in a private manner to wish him a happy birthday.
The source hinted that Prince Harry was offended or irritated by the idea that he does not wish his father a proper happy birthday annually.
The person claimed: “I’m sure the Duke will find a way to reach out privately to wish His Majesty a happy birthday like he has always done.”
According to royal reporter Neil Sean, who appeared on Fox News, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their young children —Archie and Lilibet — will make sure they do the right thing by sending warm wishes.
The royal commentator explained that the pair “do plan at least to send private good wishes to his Majesty, the King, alongside a card from these grandchildren.”
The author went on to tell Fox News that Prince Harry will not be surprised to learn that the Royal Family is delighted that his wife will not be present.
He said: “Let’s be very clear, most senior members of the British monarchy are more than relieved by the news that the two former royals known as Harry and Meghan are simply not going to be returning for the birthday celebrations.”
He revealed why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should not bother with the event by saying: “The simple fact is, this news was a problem, but more importantly, who needs victims at a family celebration? This is the dilemma that faces most of the senior members of the family: while His Majesty, the King, would very much like to reconcile with his son, this is a bigger issue.”
According to the royal expert, it will be a simple affair for the following reasons: “It will be a very private affair, and this is because of the ongoing cost-of-living crisis across the United Kingdom and around the world.”
Prince Harry is trying to find his way back to the Royal Family.
