This is not what King Charles III wished for his 75th birthday. Hours after enjoying a lavish party, King Charles and the rest of the Royal Family were hit with a new book that contains “bombshell after bombshell.”
Omid Scobie has penned a new book entitled Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival. PEOPLE Magazine has received numerous juicy extracts before it is officially published on November 21st.
Scobie said that he interviewed “current and former Palace staff” for the potential bestseller.
There is one chapter that is dedicated to the relations between Prince Harry and his older brother, Prince William.
According to the royal writer, the relationship is “beyond repair” because the future King is telling anyone who is willing to listen that his younger brother is a “defector.”
Omid Scobie has claimed that Prince William no longer hides his disapproval for his embarrassing and weak brother, who has become an enemy of the monarchy.
The author says there is “no going back for the brothers and absolutely nothing has changed in their relationship since the release of Harry’s memoir Spare earlier this year.”
The Yahoo News writer explained: “I was talking to a source quite early on in the process, and they called Harry a ‘defector’ and said that was William’s view. These were two men who, once upon a time, were firmly aligned in their outlook. One of them had to move on to also protect the crown.”
Scobie also claims Prince Harry’s “freedom to exert his own thinking outside of the confines of the institution has made him the enemy.”
According to the royal author, Prince William strongly believes that the former soldier has either lost his mind or has been brainwashed by the “army of therapists,” and he no longer recognizes him.
The royal watcher claimed that Prince William is unashamedly angered by Prince Harry’s betrayal with the publication of Spare.
He wrote: “As for how he feels about Harry since the release of Spare, a source close to the prince told me. There’s a huge amount of anger there. He feels betrayed and sad about the situation.”
Scobie concluded by telling the magazine that Prince William believes that his brother’s new-found freedom has made him a threat to the Monarchy.
He stated: “There’s a real chance here to learn, adapt to modern society, and also make up for mistakes of the past. It’s their move. These are probably sad realizations that will be had far too late in the journey. In the eyes of some within the institution, Harry is a threat to the crown. His freedom to exert his own thinking outside of the confines of the institution has made him the enemy. There’s no going back.”
This comes as Prince Harry is trying to reconcile with his father, King Charles.
