Will Smith went through the motions with the publication of his wife’s book, now he is going through it again because of a former staff member and longtime family friend.
This week, Will Smith’s former assistant, Brother Bilaal, sat down for an interview on Unwine with Tasha K where he dropped a bombshell.
Brother Bilaal, who has been friends with Will and Jada Pinkett Smith for over forty years, said he saw his former boss having sex with another man.
The ex-employee stated that Mr. Smith was sprawled out on a couch and having intercourse with actor Duane Martin in a dressing room.
He said: “I opened the door to Duane’s dressing room, and that’s when I saw Duane having anal sex with Will. There was a couch, and Will was bent over on the couch, and Duane was standing up, killing him, murdering him – it was murder in there.”
It did not take long for the Oscar-winning actor to respond to the headline-making revelation. In a statement issued to the press, Will Smith’s representative denied the story by saying: “This story is completely fabricated, and the claim is unequivocally false.”
Jada Pinkett Smith did speak to TMZ to simply say they would sue the person or people behind the accusation. In a longer interview on The Breakfast Club, the actress addressed the situation.
She claimed that the comments by the former employee were ridiculous and added: “Let me just say this: It’s ridiculous, right? And it’s nonsense.”
She also claimed that Will Smith laughed at the headline that he was gay or bisexual. The author of Worthy said: “He’s always gonna find the funny, Will laughed about it. You have to because it’s absolutely ridiculous. You know what I’m saying. So all you have to do is laugh about it. And it’s unfortunate.”
Jada Pinkett Smith said the situation was unfortunate and called it a shakedown from Brother Bilal. The mother of two further explained: “He tried a shakedown, a money shakedown, and that didn’t work. We’re going to take legal action. Because it’s one thing to have your opinion about somebody, versus just making up salacious, malicious stories. So that’s actionable. So we’re going to roll with that.”
Sources close to the Smith family spoke to The Daily Mail to say that the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star feels that he is being targeted with a “smear campaign.”
The person in the know stated that Will Smith’s children, Jaden Smith and Willow Smith, are said to be “hurt” — but not surprised — by Bilaal’s comments.
The source shared: “These rumors are nothing new to Will and Jada. What is new is that his friend of 40 years is saying this. Jada is fazed by Bilaal’s statements because of his credibility and closeness to Will. The kids are obviously hurt by this, but nothing that comes out about their parents surprises them anymore.”
The Daily Mail explained why Jaden Smith is taking the new drama particularly hard: “Jaden who had to hide his sexuality for years because his parents were not having any of it.”
Jaden Smith has been dragged along and faced backlash for wearing skirts and sharing his truth on stage. At a concert, Jaden Smith said he was “sexually fluid” and claimed that Tyler the Creator was “his boyfriend.”
While on stage at the Camp Flog Gnaw carnival, he said: “Tyler doesn’t wanna say, but Tyler’s my motherf*****g boyfriend! And he’s been my motherf*****g boyfriend my whole f*****g life.”
While appearing on BBC Will Smith hinted that his children might have been too free to express themselves.
He said: “Jaden is 100 percent fearless. He will do anything. As a parent, it’s scary, it’s really terrifying, but he is completely willing to live and die by his own artistic decisions, and he just doesn’t concern himself with what people think.”
The host asked: “Your kids seem to have a lot of freedom of expression, is that something you consciously encourage them to have?”
He replied by: “Yeah, I think it might have been a mistake. We may have gone too far.”
It is unclear if the power couple will go through with the threats.
