In the most British way, King Charles III has told Prince Harry it “ain’t happening”.
The chatter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle possibly spending Christmas in the UK with King Charles and the rest of the Royal Family has been extinguished to protect Queen Camilla and her family.
It has been confirmed that this year, Queen Camilla has invited her family and grandchildren to spend the holidays with her at Sandringham.
Indeed, King Charles’s disloyal son is out, and the Parker Bowles clan along with disgraced Prince Andrew are in.
According to royal sources, who spoke to royal journalist Chris Ship via PEOPLE Magazine, King Charles has made the holiday about Queen Camilla and her extended family.
Royal editor and writer Chris Ship revealed that Queen Camilla’s children — Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes — and other members of The Queen’s family will celebrate the most royal Christmas at Sandringham.
The publication explained: “The changed guest list may mean a change of venue for the meal. In a departure from the past and the days of the late Queen Elizabeth, the royals will sit down in the bigger ballroom rather than the dining room.”
Ship went on to spill the tea on the secret guest list: “The guest list of those attending Christmas lunch back at Sandringham House is being radically altered — and will include many members of Queen Camilla’s family for the first time.”
The source added: “The Queen has invited her children and grandchildren this year, which is different from previous years. Also among Queen Camilla’s family is her sister Annabel Elliot, who is one of her companions, as the palace calls the ladies who help the Queen at her various official events and engagements. Annabel attended to her sister at the coronation in May.”
It is believed that King Charles chose Queen Camilla over Prince Harry because she is uncomfortable being around him after the nasty and painful revelations in Spare.
Additionally, Prince William and Kate Middleton have given The King an ultimatum — them or Prince Harry for Christmas, because he cannot have the Sussexes and Wales all at once.
Royal expert Tom Bower weighed in to say: “Charles has not only got William and Kate [to think of] but he’s also got Camilla, who was very insulted by Harry and Meghan too, so that makes it a great problem for him.”
A royal insider confirmed that Queen Camilla is yet another obstacle for King Charles on the road to reconciliation with his youngest son.
They said: “The Queen is still very deeply hurt by the comments made about her and that’s another obstacle for Charles to overcome.”
The Queen is not moving in the direction of a truce.
