Taylor Swift has been honored as the Time’s Person of the Year.
The pop star did a stunning yet funny photoshoot for the publication, where she posed with her cat, Benjamin Button, on her neck and showed off her impressive figure in an array of dazzling attire.
Swift also sat down for a lengthy interview with Time, where she spoke about her career, the past six years in London, Kim Kardashian, and of course, her romance with Travis Kelce.
Taylor Swift had this to say about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s decision to share an edited version of a phone call they had to make the world believe that she was a liar: “Make no mistake—my career was taken away from me. You have a fully manufactured frame job in an illegally recorded phone call, which Kim Kardashian edited and then put out to say to everyone that I was a liar. That took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on the phone calls. I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard.”
On Scooter Braun being trash: “Nothing is permanent. So I’m very careful to be grateful every second that I get to be doing this at this level, because I’ve had it taken away from me before. There is one thing I’ve learned: My response to anything that happens, good or bad, is to keep making things. Keep making art. But I’ve also learned there’s no point in actively trying to, quote unquote, defeat your enemies. Trash takes itself out every single time.”
On her love and support for Beyoncé: “Clearly it’s very lucrative for the media and stan culture to pit two women against each other, even when those two artists in question refuse to participate in that discussion.”
The Grammy winner happily spoke about her NFL player boyfriend, Travis Kelce. She revealed that they have been dating for a longer period of time than fans believed.
She shared: “We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew which I’m grateful for because we got to get to know each other.”
She added: “I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date. When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there, and we don’t care. The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
She concluded by saying she is currently living the best and happiest moment of her life.
