King Charles III is the monarch of the British monarchy who must fight with an iron fist to protect the institution, but he has also made it clear that he is a king of heart when it comes to his family, especially his five grandchildren.
Recent reports have surfaced saying that His Majesty has taken the conscious decision to spend more time with Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s three young children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Now that the heir, his wife, and their children reside closer to King Charles and Queen Camilla in the Windsor property, King Charles has adopted his walks and leisure time around the little ones.
King Charles knows the saying that grandparents have borrowed time, so he is making the effort to bond, create memories, and teach life lessons to the young Wales children.
King Charles has five grandchildren, and he of course wants to spend time with Prince Archie and Prince Lilibet.
However, there are many obstacles in his way of achieving that goal. The Monarch and the rest of the Royal Family are currently at war with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s parents — Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The family is upset at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to sell the royal secrets to the highest bidders.
Prince Harry revealed that Prince William verbally and physically assaulted him. The Duke of Sussex called Queen Camilla every name in the book.
And in the last episode of the saga, Kate Middleton and King Charles were accused of making racist comments about Prince Archie.
The Palace is still standing by its statement that recollection may vary when it comes to the racist row.
Despite all that has been said and done, King Charles does not want Archie and Lilibet to fall victim to their parents’ misremembering an off-color or foolish question.
Royal sources have revealed that King Charles plans to play a role in Archie and Lilibet’s lives. He wants to see them as often as possible and wants them to know who he is.
A royal insider stated: “It pains him that he’s yet to meet Lilibet. He would love so much to spend time with Archie as well as Harry, whether it’s one-on-one or with Meghan there too, it would be devastating for Charles if Harry and Meghan spent another Christmas away.”
The person claimed that His Majesty is “hoping they’ll relent and come to visit more often as a family of four.”
The source told Bella Magazine that King Charles is “hardly in a position whereby he can hop on a plane to California.”
However, King Charles is willing to make the surprising move of traveling to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s hotel or rental home in the UK to see his grandchildren.
The insider suggested: “The King is willing to move mountains to meet the Sussexes at their chosen UK locations, even if other Royal Family members aren’t present. Charles still loves Harry greatly, and it’s his greatest hope that, at some point, they can put differences aside and move forward as a loving family.”
King Charles’s sudden move to meet and have a relationship with Archie and Lilibet is seen by some royal experts as a risky or even dangerous one because it could lead to more leaks and more revelations from the power couple.
Others view it as a stroke of genius because The King gets to unveil his true and kind self to his grandchildren, so they will not grow up believing the press that he made remarks about one’s skin color.
