Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s most well-kept secret has been publicized by pure mistake
It seems that Prince William and his wife, the future Queen, have a long-running argument between them. It is normal for couples to have disagreements.
However, what is different about this surprising quarrel is the fact that it has now spilled into the public domain.
For several years, the heir to the throne and King Charles III have been pushing for Prince George to follow the traditional trajectory laid out for all British monarchs — they attend a certain school.
Prince William has made it clear that his oldest son, who shall one day reign over England, must go to Eton College, a boarding school for boys.
Eton, which is considered one of the most prestigious boarding schools in the world, is also well-known for preparing many members of the Royal Family.
King Charles and The Firm fully support Prince William’s choice for the young heir. Prince George’s destiny at the all-boys college seems so certain that Kate Middleton skipped the Earthshot Singapore event and stayed in London to help him prepare for the entry test.
However, it has now been revealed that Middleton is still fighting with her husband about which school their child should attend.
Catherine, Princess of Wales, has been pushing since day one for Prince George to be in a co-educational public school.
Middleton has even gone out of her way and selected Marlborough College, a public school for pupils aged 13 to 18 in Wiltshire.
The Princess of Wales herself has attended Marlborough and hopes for Prince George to share the same experience.
She has visited the school several times, most recently in December. To win this passionate argument, she invited her husband, Prince William, to tag along.
The Daily Mail revealed: “It has an illustrious reputation for schooling the elite – including Princes William and Harry – but Eton College may not be able to count Prince George among its future pupils. Speculation is growing that the second in line to the throne will, instead, follow in his mother’s footsteps, and be educated at Marlborough College in Wiltshire.”
The publication noted: “The Princess of Wales has recently toured the £47,000-a-year co-educational school for the second time in as many months – this time accompanied by her husband and ten-year-old George.”
Prince Harry sported many arguments against Eton in Spare.
The media outlet also stated: “Although it is understood that no firm decision has yet been made about what school George will attend, the Princess took him and William to her alma mater on December 1, having previously visited alone in October. They also all toured Eton back in June. The college, which is a stone’s throw from Windsor Castle, provided a haven for William and Harry, who boarded there during the most turbulent years of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage. But while William found solace there after his mother’s death, Harry lamented in his memoir Spare that it was not the right choice for him.”
The couple will have to reach an agreement on the matter very soon.
