Queen Camilla Embraces Royal Quirk That Makes Life Harder For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle

Queen Camilla King Charles Prince Harry Mantra

In the past few weeks, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have found themselves in the middle of another media firestorm.

The drama centered this time around on the revelations contained in Omid Scobie‘s new book, Endgame. The royal expert revealed the names of the two royals who allegedly made racist comments about Prince Archie before he was born.

King Charles III and his daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, were put in a difficult situation as the alleged culprits.

However, the two royals remained calm and decided to carry on with their schedule as if nothing had happened. There was no real fuss coming from the Royal Family besides a few threats about taking legal action.

The situation illustrates perfectly how the British royals mastered a strategy that served them well throughout the past decades. It is the well-known quirk of “never explain, never complain” that Queen Elizabeth II has popularized.

Queen Camilla has also made it her own. In recent years, Prince Harry has said horrible things about her, and she has never reacted publicly.

Moreover, when the skin tone story first surfaced, many assumed she was the one who made the remarks. She has never uttered a single word to defend her good name.

She has perfected the mantra in a way that Markle and to some extent, Prince Harry have not been able to. The tactic has even made life harder for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The Sussexes have always complained about the need to set the record straight. Other royals do not feel the same way and choose to endure no matter the price.

One royal expert even believes that not living by the royal mantra has been at the root of the Sussexes’ downfall.

Esther Krakue stated: “For them to be classed as the biggest losers means that actually a lot of the people that you would think would hover around them and steal a bit of the limelight that the Sussexes should naturally have, given their proximity [to] the Royal Family,… they’re just not seeing any value there.”

In the interview with Sky News Australia, she added: “This is a couple that went from having deals with Netflix and Spotify – these multi-million-pound deals. They were having interviews with Oprah. You couldn’t run away from them in the headlines. They were literally everywhere. Everyone was thinking, ‘What are they going to do next? Are they going to bring down the Royal Family…”

She continued: “That’s really all just shattered under their own feet because they really just didn’t understand a lot of the fundamental, key characteristics that’s made the Royal Family effectively last this long.”

For Krakue, putting service and duty above self could be the way forward for the couple. She concluded: “It really just made their star wane. And for that reason, many in Hollywood don’t really see the point in attaching themselves to the Sussexes.”

As the couple weighs their options, this piece of advice seems worth to be taken into consideration.
