Recently, Prince Harry made a dash trip to London to see his father, King Charles III, after he announced that he was battling cancer.
From the outside, it looked like a worried and concerned son rushing to spend time with his ailing father. Many applauded Prince Harry for being physically present for His Majesty during one of the most difficult times of his life.
The former soldier indicated to the world that he wanted to be present and supportive of his father. However, as the days go by, more and more details about the brief visit are being leaked to the media.
It was claimed by multiple media outlets that Prince Harry demanded that Queen Camilla not be in the same room when he spoke to His Majesty.
The Sun has shut down that claim to reveal that Queen Camilla was present during the entire conversation between the two men that lasted less than 30 minutes.
Now reports have surfaced revealing that Prince Harry wanted to spend more time with his father. Meghan Markle‘s husband was hoping to make the trip to Sandringham with His Majesty and Queen Camilla, but that did not sit well with the senior royals.
The Sun claims: “Prince Harry was stopped from joining the King at Sandringham after flying to the UK because Palace aides feared “they’d never get rid of him”. The Duke of Sussex was told to get a hotel instead of staying with the cancer-stricken King. The Sun on Sunday can reveal Harry, 39, planned for a long heart-to-heart with his dad. He had even hoped to join the King — recuperating from cancer treatment — for a few days at Sandringham. But instead, he was instructed to visit Clarence House, his dad’s London home, for a short managed face-to-face meeting — and then told to get himself a hotel for the night.”
It went on to say: “It was understood Buckingham Palace accepted his quick visit to Britain as a kind “gesture” and “cause for optimism”. But it was not believed to have led to a major thawing in relations. When Charles rang his younger son to reveal his shock cancer diagnosis, Harry “took it upon himself” to fly to London. But after landing at Heathrow on February 6 he was told not to set off for Norfolk, where the King, 75, was planning to spend time with Queen Camilla, 76.”
A royal insider revealed: “Harry came over to see his father, expecting to go to Sandringham. But instead, he was asked to be at Clarence House and was restricted to 30 minutes. The fear was that if he went to Sandringham they would never get rid of him.”
It is believed that Queen Camilla is not comfortable spending time with her stepson, who attacked and destroyed her reputation in Spare.
In the memoir, The Duke of Sussex repeatedly slammed her, calling her evil, the other woman, and dangerous.
Prince Harry also revealed that Queen Camilla is the leaker-in-chief who shared damaging stories about him and Prince William with the press to secure her spot as an adoring Queen.
Friends stated that she was hurt and disappointed and was hoping for an apology that never came.
