It was not the big announcement that Taylor Swift‘s fans were hoping for, but she still managed to deliver some excitement.
Taylor Swift revealed that there will be some big changes to her Eras Tour. In a recent post, the “Cruel Summer” singer expressed her desire to be a bit more wild and free on stage.
The pop legend has decided to break her biggest self-imposed rule — singing songs from previous performances.
In the post, she explained her plans for her upcoming Eras Tour in more passionate detail: “But this is sort of a public service announcement to everyone who might be anywhere else on the tour, or whatever, or watching this—we have a lot of people, we are. I’ve just been kind of rethinking, and I’ve been thinking I want to be as creative as possible with the acoustic set moving forward, and I don’t want to limit anything or say.”
Swift said that she has decided to give her creativity more freedom and color outside the box. She shared: “If I played this song, I can’t play it again. Very lucky to have a lot of people watch this on the internet and care about these shows if they’re not here. So, from now on, I don’t want to take any paint colors out of the paintbox or tools out of the toolbox.”
The singer-songwriter was nonetheless humble enough to ask her fans if they supported her move to break free.
She stated: “I want to be able to play songs more than once if I feel like it, and I want to be able to make changes to songs. Does that sound OK?”
Swift, who has been delighting her Australian fans with her music, also shared this sweet message: “Melbourne, what do I even say to you after over 288,000 of you came and danced with us in the last 3 nights ??! That was unforgettable. You were on another LEVEL. Thank you for the memories. I’ll revisit the ones from this weekend often 🥲🫶.”
Swift’s decision to let loose comes days after some not-so-happy news. Many believed that her private jet flew to Hawaii to pick up her NFL boyfriend, Travis Kelce, to join her Down Under. However, Travis Kelcse’s dad explained he would not be able to make it.
Ed Kelce told The Sydney Morning Herald, that because of previous commitments, it will be hard for her son to travel out of the country.
He shared: “Well, look, we spoke after the Super Bowl, and I asked him, are you going to take off for Sydney, and he seemed keen. He said he’d really like to see Sydney and Singapore, but he wasn’t sure because he had commitments. He is at a celebrity charity golf outing today, which, I think, is in Las Vegas.”
The father was wrong because the Super Bowl winning athlete was in Sydney in a six-star hotel that is beyond pricey. He has been seen enjoying a zoo date with his lady love.
However, one Australian writer and expert had some terrible news for Swift, she explained why the romance will not last a lifetime.
Relationship expert Jana Hocking writes: “That’s why I can say without a doubt that this relationship will be simply that, an era. Not a lifetime. Ooof, I can hear the Swifties coming for me now. But trust me on this, my friendship bracelet-wearing readers. It’s not going to last. She comes from a creative background — she’s a glorious musical magician at heart. And he catches a ball. And runs. And dives.”
She continued: “She sits in her bedroom writing songs and playing with fluffy cats. He chugs beer and talks sports with the boys. Although, to be fair, they both wear a sequined outfit rather well. Did you see the suit he wore to the Super Bowl? Very … umm … sparkly. But listen, as someone who has sat through many a date with a “sporty person” searching for anything to discuss that we may have in common, I can tell you right now this relationship is built on lust, lust, and more lust.”
She concluded by: “They’re not discussing Freud, or love languages, or unpacking the secret meaning behind some of the best song lyrics of all time. No. Instead, he’s asking her if she thought he looked “electric” on the field. (That is a direct quote — if we are to believe those zany lip readers on TikTok.) And she’s just admiring his muscles and twinkly blue eyes. If we were to bring this back to high school days, it’s the equivalent of the jock dating the music nerd. They do not mesh.”
Swift and her man might suprised the experts.
