No matter how hard he tries, King Charles is always left standing in disbelief and extremely disappointed by how fast Prince Harry destroys every second, third, or even fourth chance given to him.
Most recently, King Charles and Queen Camilla pushed their anger and frustration aside for the sake of unity and family bonding with Prince Harry.
The Duke of Sussex, without Meghan Markle, made what first appeared to be a kind gesture towards His Majesty, who has been recently diagnosed with cancer.
Upon receiving the painful phone call from his father, Prince Harry immediately boarded a flight from California to London to see him.
King Charles, who had started his cancer treatment that same day, put his traveling plans on pause for a brief yet wonderful opportunity to sit down and talk with his son.
An insider claimed that King Charles was extremely disheartened to see that, immediately after the meeting, Prince Harry was joking on stage in Las Vegas.
To add more insult to injury, Prince Harry rushed to Good Morning America during his visit to Canada to talk about his private meeting with his father.
A source revealed to In Touch that indeed it was a short-lived truce between Prince Harry and His Majesty and added: “Harry flew to London but only spent 45 minutes with his dad at Clarence House before rushing off to Las Vegas to present at the NFL Honors. The prince could have easily canceled his award-show appearance. The visit came off as more of a PR stunt than a son who was seriously concerned. Now, whatever truce Harry and Charles may have had, it’s over.”
Prince William, who was also heartbroken and felt betrayed by Prince Harry, predicted that King Charles’s heart would be broken again, and he was right.
The person shared: “William was livid that Harry’s trip home to England was so short. It’s no secret that he and other royals feel Harry has dropped the ball when it comes to supporting Charles, both in his role as king and now during his health crisis.”
The insider had a sad conclusion for the Royal Family — there is no path forward because trust and loyalty are completely gone — they have now been replaced by drama, frustration, and disappointment.
The person in charge stated: “They continue to want the perks of being members of the monarchy, but they don’t want anything to do with the actual royals. It’s very sad. There doesn’t seem to be a path forward, either. Most families, no matter their underlying issues, come together during hard times. Not the royals.”
