Taylor Swift‘s NFL boyfriend, Travis Kelce, departed from Australia, social media and gossip mills went wild after he was photographed living it up at a Las Vegas club, while downing champagne, all while surrounded by provocatively dressed women.
The athlete spent two short days Down Under with the billionaire pop queen, who is currently on her Eras Tour, and rushed to Nevada to party, celebrate his big Super Bowl win, and let loose.
According to media outlets, Travis Kelce arrived in Las Vegas at 8.30 a.m. on Saturday and immediately hit the party scenes with his Kansas Chief teammate and best friend, Patrick Mahomes.
In a series of videos and pictures obtained by The Daily Mail, Kelce, in a bright gold and black Hawaiian shirt, could be seen having the time of his life while dancing and holding a massive bottle of champagne.
At some point, he left the dance floor and jumped on a table to have some crazy fun.
According to The Mail, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes left “the Venetian hotel in a party bus to continue their wild night elsewhere on the city’s iconic strip.”
Kelce’s decision has been criticized by many, who say he is embarrassing Swift by breaking her rules.
This week, it was revealed that the artist is not a fan of Kelce’s drunken party-boy image. The athlete went viral for all the wrong reasons when an intoxicated Kelce took the stage during the parade for their Super Bowl win and launched into a confusion-filled and unrecognizable version of Garth Brooks’s country classic “Friends in Low Places.”
Several teammates had to hold him up until Patrick Mahomes finally pulled the microphone away.
A source, who spoke to Life & Style, said Swift is determined to change her man’s boozed-up behavior and added: “He should have reined it in a little bit.”
The insider added: “Pals are saying that now that Taylor and Travis are more than six months into their relationship, she feels comfortable setting certain rules for him to follow. Fortunately, Travis is on board—with most of them, anyway.”
The source went on to reveal that Kelce has accepted some of the rules, but is unhappy about some of the restrictions that Swift put in place.
The person claimed: “Travis is fine with Taylor giving him her thoughts and opinions on how to navigate such a public relationship. He really does appreciate it. He’s not so happy with some of the restrictions she wants in place, though.”
She also disapproves of him hitting the strip clubs, and he has confessed that he is fine with that. He revealed that he is done with visits to adult entertainment venues on his “New Heights” podcast after he wore a Crazy Horse 3 Las Vegas shirt to a football game.
He said: “It is fine not going to strip clubs anymore (that’s one of her hard rules).”
Another rule he finds silly is this: “But Taylor also doesn’t want him posing for photographs with female fans, mostly to avoid inaccurate headlines. He had to roll his eyes at that one.”
The source concluded by saying that while Kelce understands that Swift has careful crafted and protects her public image, he is not interested in playing those games.
The person stated: “But he has no interest in playing a calculated media game if it’s going to make him think twice about every move he makes. That’s not his style.”
Kelce will have to play by the rules to keep his lady love happy.
