It seems that Prince Harry is telling the world via legal documents that he did not leave England, but England left him, Meghan Markle, and their young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
According to legal documents that have surfaced, for the first time, Prince Harry has listed the United States as his official and primary residence instead of his native country, the UK.
Prince Harry has changed his country of residence from Britain to the United States in official paperwork, four years after quitting the palace for a new life in California.
According to The Daily Mail, Prince Harry filed a notice changing his details in connection with Travalyst, his ecotourism non-profit.
The Duke of Sussex took the opportunity to hit back at his father, King Charles III, by listing his change of address as the date he was officially and humiliatingly evicted from Frogmore Cottage.
The Mail shared: “A filing at Britain’s Companies House, seen by Newsweek, read: New Country/State Usually Resident: UNITED STATES.” The date the change was made is cited as 29 June 2023, in the paperwork that was made public for the first time on Wednesday.”
According to royal biographer Tom Bower, it is not by coincidence that Prince Harry listed the date of his leaving Frogmore as the start of his US residency.
The author believes that it is a clear signal that Prince Harry is hurt and irritated by King Charles’s decision to boot him, Markle, and their children from Frogmore.
The change is an indication that Prince Harry’s furious phone call with his father on the day of the eviction was real.
It has been revealed that Prince Harry was yelling at King Charles to ask him “do you want to see your grandchildren” when he was booted from the home.
Without a British residence, it is all but certain that Prince Harry and especially Meghan Markle will not be returning to England with their children anytime soon.
The veteran author stated: “King Charles was quite right to evict Harry from Frogmore, and not surprisingly, Harry was irritated. He and Meghan thought they could have their cake and eat it.”
He went on to add: “Unfortunately, the King did not go further and strip the Sussexes of their titles. That might have stopped their recent promotional splurge, exploiting their royal titles to earn money. Hopefully, when the King recovers he will reconsider his attitude towards the Sussexes and distance them further from the royal family.”
It seems King Charles’s decision to punish Prince Harry and Markle by kicking them out of their rented home will have long-term and legal ramifications for generations to come.
