Not many expected to see the day that Prince William approved, with great delight, one of Prince Harry‘s big and public declarations.

Well, hell has finally frozen over because the heir to the throne is said to be thrilled that Prince Harry made his divorce from the United Kingdom public and final.

If anything, Prince William is wondering what took Prince Harry so long to sever ties with the country he dislikes, the monarchy that hurts his mental well-being, and the family that caused him generational pain.

This week, it was confirmed via The Daily Mail that it took Prince Harry more than four years to have that big moment of truth. His home is now in the United States, and the chapter with the UK is over.

On legal documents, the former soldier dramatically changed the address of his primary residence to Montecito, California, on the paperwork for Travalyst, a sustainable travel organization that he founded in 2019.

The publication noted: “Filings published by Companies House today for ‘Prince Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex‘ record that his ‘New Country/State Usually Resident’ is now the USA. It was previously recorded as the United Kingdom.”

It is claimed that Prince William, whose reputation was severely damaged by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle via a series of revelations and accusations, is relieved that his brother finalized the split.

One royal expert said that Prince William is finally getting some closure. Relationship expert Louella Alderson in an interview with The Mirror, said she believes the Prince of Wales might be upset over the “finality” of Prince Harry’s decision, but it will also provide “clarity and closure for everyone.”

The expert said: “His relationships with the Royal Family do not appear to be a priority for Harry, as he focuses on building his new brand and career in the US. The finality of this decision could potentially cause Prince William and other members of the Royal Family to feel hurt and disappointed, but it may also provide clarity and closure for everyone involved.”

Alderson added: “While Harry has been living in the US for four years, declaring it as his new usual residence officially feels like a subtle but sure way of establishing boundaries and creating a new identity separate from his royal duties. Harry’s relationships with his family are already strained, and this step sends them a message that he is not planning to return to the UK anytime soon, if at all.”

The Duke of Sussex and his wife, Meghan Markle, are working on different projects for this year.
