It seems that Meghan Markle might have just come up with the perfect reason or excuse to shatter King Charles III‘s heart.
At the age of 75, the Monarch is said to be very ill and is often tired as he battles cancer and undergoes chemotherapy.
The weight of the King‘s health struggles has softened his heart more than ever, and he is desperate to put his family first.
Several reports have indicated that King Charles made his five grandchildren his priority.
Despite his health, King Charles has reworked his schedule to prioritize spending time with Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s children.
King Charles holds onto hope, faith and his family. His Majesty plans to extend the same love and time to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children — Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
His hope of reconciling his waring family is a beacon in these difficult and uncertain times for the British royal family.
King Charles made moves to have a family vacation with him in Scotland to show his good faith. Credible royal sources told Page Six that King Charles plans to invite Prince Harry and his family to Scotland.
An insider recently revealed to the media outlet: “I can see Charles desperately wanting to see the children and extending this olive branch to Meghan and Harry. He may decide that life is just too short. Balmoral is truly the perfect, restful place for a reunion. If he does issue an invite, then Harry and Meghan should surely agree to the visit.”
However, it is still being determined if this reunion will come to fruition. Meghan Markle, known for her city and upper-scale lifestyle, might find the rural setting of Balmoral less appealing.
Royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths explained that Markle would not escape her Montecito bubble to bring Archie and Lilibet to the countryside in Scotland.
She said: “Even if Harry comes, I can’t imagine a world in which Meghan comes over with the kids, it’s really sad.”
During the appearance on TalkTV, the royal expert further explained why Meghan Markle was not interested in going to Balmoral.
She stated: “[Meghan] was never really enamored with the rural royal life and the sort of cold two-bar radiators and the boot rooms.”
She added: “I mean, can you imagine Meghan stalking in the highlands all summer? I can’t really, to be honest.”
Markle might believe King Charles should have invited the family to London if he wanted to see his grandchildren.
