Kate Middleton has millions of supporters hoping for her full and speedy recovery.
However, those royal watchers and backers must learn to be patient because it might take some time before Kate Middleton even slightly returns to the public sphere.
Princess Kate underwent abdominal surgery in January, and soon after, she announced that she was battling cancer.
Since then, the future Queen of England has been in Adelaide Cottage, receiving the best care from top medical professionals while surrounded by her family, including her husband, Prince William, and mother, Carole Middleton.
Middleton, who requested privacy and decency when she announced her diagnosis in a video, has stayed away from the public.
This week, it was confirmed that King Charles III, who is also battling cancer, had received the green light from his doctors to return to his royal duties.
Many were hopeful that the same would happen for Kate Middleton. However, a glimpse into her empty and heartbreaking schedule revealed that she has a tough battle in front of her and will not return to public duties anytime soon.
The Times confirmed that, unlike King Charles, Middleton would not be visible. The media outlet shared: “While The King will be increasingly visible in the coming weeks and months, the Princess of Wales will not, as she continues with her course of preventive chemotherapy and recovery at home in Windsor.”
According to the media outlet, supporters should accept that Princess Kate cannot attend significant events such as the Chelsea Flower Show, Wimbledon, Royal Ascot, or Trooping the Colour.
It went on to say: “Since the Princess authorized the release of her video message on March 22, the public and elements of the press have examined their consciences, and the frenzied speculation has dissolved. The Princess, as she wishes, has been left to the care of her doctors and loved ones in peace. But as the summer season approaches, so too do the events at which she would ordinarily be a fixture: Chelsea Flower Show, Wimbledon, Royal Ascot, Trooping the Colour, and at least one palace garden party. Her absence will still be keenly felt.”
The Palace said this about Middleton’s calendar: “The Palace has said she will return to official duties only when she is cleared by doctors, and that advice still stands. Kate is expected to be away from public duties for some time.”
The Royal family is going through some major changes.
