Kate Midleton has many eagerly anticipating her big return to the limelight. The mother of three and future Queen announced earlier this year that she is battling cancer.
Princess Kate is optimistic that her preventive chemotherapy will lead to a full recovery. As Middleton fights and focuses on her health, she has rightfully decided to remove herself from public life.
It was previously believed that Middleton would return to her duties as a senior royal in the spring, but her condition does not permit that.
Reports and an official statement from the British governor’s defense ministry gave the illusion that Middleton would return to action in the summer just in time for the dropping of colors.
In response to the announcement, Prince William clarified that Middleton’s health is the top priority and that her recovery progress will determine any return to public life.
A friend of Middtelon spoke to The Daily Mail and gave the accurate timeline of her return, confirming an unexpectedly complicated turn of events.
In a piece written by Richard Eden, it was sadly revealed that Kate Middleton would not be seen or heard before the fall season.
The royal author shared: “She has not undertaken any public engagements this year, and friends I spoke to in the past few days suggest we might not see Catherine again until the autumn – and only then if she has recovered fully.”
This is less-than-ideal news for those rooting for the princess’s comeback. According to the royal expert, Kate Middleton’s health issues have forced her to pause all significant decisions, including this big one: “Indeed, other aspects of the work she shares with Prince William have been put on hold. Take, for example, the planned appointment of someone to run the Waleses’ household. In my social diary, Eden Confidential, I disclosed last September that William and Catherine planned to create a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) role responsible for about 60 staff. However, the search for a CEO has now been suspended. As a palace spokesman explained: ‘With everything going on, the Royal Household’s focus is on the Princess’s recovery, so no appointment has been made.”
According to a royal insider, Middleton is protected by everyone, so she is not pressured to rush back into the limelight.
The source shared: “No one wants to put any pressure on Catherine. The only thing that matters at the moment is her getting better. She has been through an ordeal this year. Big decisions, such as appointing new staff, can wait in practice. It’s a reflection of Her Royal Highness’s importance to the future of the Monarchy, and she has been given as much time as she needs.”
It is said that unlike King Charles III, Middleton “does not need to be seen to be believed.”
The insider added: “As Sovereign, His Majesty is in a very different position from the Princess of Wales. There is no need for her to be seen while she’s recovering.”
Princess Kate will return when she feels like, and many observers are starting to believe that this will not happen anytime soon.
