Kate Middleton is stuck between a rock and a hard place. The future Queen of England is battling cancer and has been forced to remove herself from public life to focus on her health.
Middleton’s decision is being criticized by many for her absences from the Easter family outing, garden party, and royal engagements.
Some have taken to social media to demand that Middleton show a sign of life because the video announcement and her quiet trips to the local markets and stores are not enough.
Sadly, Middleton has been hurt and influenced by all the wild comments and theories that have flooded the internet and the media.
Prince William‘s wife has decided to do so even if she is not ready to make an appearance on Buckingham Palace’s balcony for the Trooping of Colour or the celebration of King Charles III‘s birthday parade.
The Palace and Middleton’s office spent months explaining that she could not attend, but a wave of brutal and heartbreaking rumors have pushed her to reconsider dramatically.
The Daily Mail revealed: “The Princess of Wales is considering making an appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony after the Trooping the Colour ceremony, it was claimed today. Royal officials confirmed yesterday that Kate will not attend the Colonel’s Review on June 8, the traditional rehearsal for Trooping the Colour, held on June 15. But The Daily Mirror reported that the Princess is considering walking onto the famous balcony in a fortnight’s time if she feels well enough.”
The media outlet explained that Middleton could not perform her duties as Colonel of the Irish Guards leading up to the significant event.
The Mail said: “Kate, who is also undergoing cancer treatment, would have been due to take the salute on June 8 in normal circumstances in her role as Colonel of the Irish Guards. But she continues to stay away from public royal duties during her chemotherapy while resting at home and will only return when doctors give her the all-clear. Lieutenant General James Bucknall, former commander of the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps, will be the inspecting officer on Kate’s behalf for the Colonel’s Review.”
King Charles, who is also struck with cancer, has also been forced to make some changes. It has been confirmed: “Buckingham Palace also revealed yesterday that King Charles III will travel in a carriage with Queen Camilla on June 15 and not be on horseback. MailOnline understands the attendance of other Royal Family members at Trooping the Colour events will be confirmed nearer the time of each one.”
Some find it regrettable that Middleton has been forced to prematurely return to the spotlight because of the barrage of unfounded theories.
