Britney Spears has been experiencing some significant changes in the past months and has decided to keep them a secret.
However, it seemed that the news was too good to be true, so her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, decided to reveal it to the world.
The pop singer fought against her father, Jamie Spears, to end her 14-year conservatorship. Spears and Sam Asghari got married, but she suffered a miscarriage, and the couple eventually got divorced.
She also penned the bombshell book, The Woman in Me, which led to a bitter war of words with her famous ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake.
Spears also found herself entangled in numerous public and brutal fights with her sons — Sean Federline and Jayden Federline.
Sean and Jayden refused to have any contact with their mother for months. One of the teens sat down for an interview, explaining that Spears is not a great mother and she has embarrassed them with her despicable and inappropriate pictures on Instagram.
Spears fought back by explaining she loves her sons and that sometimes kids need to be told “no” and be disciplined for disrespectful behavior.
In 2023, the teenagers cut all contact with Britney Spears and eventually relocated to Hawaii with their father, Kevin Federline, and stepmother Victoria Prince.
This week, Kevin Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent, spoke to Entertainment Tonight to share some surprisingly good news.
Vincent shared some heartwarming news with Entertainment Tonight. He revealed that Sean and Jayden have reconciled with their mother and are now in regular contact.
The lawyer shared: “Reconciliations and the reunification of relationships are difficult and take time. They are sometimes complicated and always a lengthy process. The process has not really commenced, let alone [been] completed.”
Kevin Federline’s attorney also noted that the mother and two sons have taken a positive step in their relationship. He said: “The good thing is that the boys saw their mom was doing well and had a desire to speak with her. There has been some telephonic communication between Britney and her sons, and we think that is a step in the right direction.”
Despite the challenges, Britney Spears always made sure to express her love for her sons.
She wrote in a sweet Instagram: “It’s so crazy how time flies… My boys are so big now!!!! I know … I know … it’s very hard for any mama especially a mama with boys seeing them grow up so fast !!!! Talk about enough to make you go to your knees … GEEZ !!!! I’m extremely lucky because my two babies are such gentlemen and so kind that I must have done something right !!!! I haven’t posted pictures of them for some time because they’re at the age where they want to express their own identities, and I totally get it.”
Fans of the music icon are happy that she is doing the work.
