Brad Pitt and his ex-wife have been fighting since late 2016, and their warfare keeps evolving to disgraceful heights with each passing year.
The former power couple had a blowout argument and altercation on board a private plane that led to Angelina Jolie filing for divorce.
The clashes on multiple dimensions began when Jolie decided that she and Pitt were no longer compatible.
The Oscar winners have had financial disputes over homes and shared businesses. They have also publicly been at each other’s throats, with embarrassing leaks and disturbing revelations.
Regrettably, the most bitter dispute between the estranged exes revolves around their children, who are unwittingly caught in the crossfire.
Pitt and Jolie are parents to four adult children and two teens: Maddox, 23; Pax, 20; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and the twins, Knox and Vivienne, 16.
The Hollywood actors dragged the custody war for years, with Pitt coming out on the losing end.
Leaked Documents revealed the children had been in therapy for long periods to cope with the heartbreaking divorce process.
However, Pitt’s house crashed after five of his six children publicly declared that they had dropped his last name.
Shiloh, demonstrating her independence, took a significant step on her 18th birthday. She used her own funds to hire a lawyer and legally dropped the last name Jolie-Pitt.
This week, the drama between the estranged couple occurred when Angelina Jolie walked the red carpet of the Governors Awards with her son, Knox Jolie Pitt.
The mother and son duo Angelina Jolie and Knox Jolie Pitt made a striking appearance at the event. Knox towered over his mother in a dapper black suit, who was resplendent in a cream and gold gown.
The mother and son stole the spotlight at the event because of how much Knox looks like his father.
A source close to Brad Pitt told The Daily Mail that he finds his appearance at the significant event odd because of his recent court win against Jolie.
A judge recently threw out Jolie’s motion to dismiss her ex-husband’s lawsuit over their French vineyard, The Chateau Miraval. Insiders have accused the actress of “using outings with her children to get under her ex-husband’s skin.”
The person said Pitt found the timing of the outing suspicious and added that the teen dislikes the spotlight and no longer speaks to his father.
The source stated: “She is trying to get under his skin after his recent win, and using Knox to do so is odd. Knox wants nothing to do with Hollywood and has no communication with Brad.”
The insider added that Pitt is hurt that Jolie has caused his children to have no contact with him. The source claimed: “Of course, it bothers him that Angelina has turned them against him. She did this while they were all young, and they didn’t even get a chance to decide about him. He believes that, in time, his children will come back into his life.”
However, The Daily Mail reports that Jolie’s team finds Pitt to have gone too far with these accusations and flat-out denies them.
The Jolie source said: “Knox chose to attend the awards with his mom, and they had a nice mother-son evening. Their decision to attend together did not have anything to do with Brad.”
The children have picked sides.
