According to a source who spoke to Page Six, the actress sent an invitation to Affleck for Christmas.
Garner and Affleck’s children — Violet, Seraphina/Fin, and Samuel — typically split their time between their parents for the holidays, but this year will be different, ensuring their well-being is a priority.
Garner wants her ex-husband to be with the family for the special moments. The insider said: “Jen and Ben typically split their time with the kids over the holidays, but Jen offered to spend Christmas together with Ben if he wanted. Christmas is one of Jen’s favorite holidays, and she would love for the family to be together as often as possible for these occasions.”
According to the source, Garner and Affleck had a great Thanksgiving together and hoped to continue creating memories during the year-end holidays.
The person stated: “Jen and Ben have a friendly co-parenting relationship, and she knows the kids had a wonderful time being together with both parents on Thanksgiving.”
According to another insider who talked to Page Six, after going through a bitter divorce, Affleck has become very comfortable with Garner.
The person claimed: “Even though Ben and Jen [Garner] have been split for a while now, he feels a certain level of comfort with her.”
