Brad Pitt has strong feelings toward his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, and he has decided to express them brutally and publicly this Christmas season.
Pitt is scheduled to celebrate a huge birthday on December 18 — he will turn 60, and one week later, he is supposed to jump into the Christmas festivities.
Sources close to the Oscar-winning actor told Page Six it is hard for him to put his heart into the holidays when Angelina Jolie has become the Grinch that stole his Christmases.
One insider told the media outlet that he misses his six children — Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne.
He does not see or talk to them throughout the year, and it hurts even more around Christmas.
It is supposed to be a special moment of making memories, sharing gifts, and being grateful for all they have.
However, that is not possible because, since the shock divorce in 2016, Jolie has turned the children against him.
The source told the media outlet that Pitt’s heart was breaking and added: “Brad is missing his kids and wishes he had a closer relationship with them, particularly with celebrating the holidays and his birthday this month.”
The insider lamented that Pitt once held special bonds with Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne that had been broken and possibly beyond repair because of Jolie’s decision.
The person in the know stated: “They used to have a good relationship, but that’s in the past, and it breaks his heart. Brad feels like Angelina has turned his kids against him.”
According to a family friend, Pitt believes that his ex-wife worked diligently over the years to manipulate the children, making him the villain in the story.
The insider added: “He feels like Angelina knows exactly what she’s doing.”
All six children have turned away from Pitt, and many of them have even dropped his last name.
It was recently revealed that Jolie has made no efforts to ensure that his former in-laws, William Pitt and Jane Pitt, have access to or communication with their grandchildren.
A source close to Pitt told The Daily Mail that his parents are in their 80s and are hurting by the way they have been cut out and abandoned by Jolie and their grandchildren.
Jolie has remained unfazed despite Pitt and his family’s pleas. Pitt’s camp often blames Jolie for the deteriorating relationships between the father and his children, rarely acknowledging the part his conduct played in this messy and heartbreaking family drama.
There is always the risk that these jaw-dropping leaks will further alienate the children from their father.
