Brad Pitt and his estranged wife parted ways after finalizing their divorce, but the saga continues.
Au contraire, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have ignited a new fire of war and have indicated that they will fight for years to come.
It took eight years of going back and forth in the media and courtrooms for Pitt and Jolie to split their lives, assets permanently, and, sadly, their six children, who are caught in the crossfire of this bitter battle.
The former exes have decided to attack each other via personal leaks to the press, escalating the conflict to a new level.
Sources close to Angelina Jolie spoke to PEOPLE Magazine to explain that she has a brutal wish for the father of her children.
Jolie hopes he will finally leave her alone and stop attacking her personality and decisions as a mother and businesswoman.
The person in the know stated: “These last eight years have been such a horrendous time for her and her family. Angelina hopes the finalization of their divorce will enable him to move on, stop attacking her, and instead help heal their family.”
The insider continued by bashing Pitt by claiming that he used his power and privilege to cause Jolie great harm and to traumatize their children.
Jolie also blamed Pitt alone for the damaged relationship with the kids. The source dropped the following accusation via PEOPLE Magazine: “Brad has successfully used his power and privilege to cover up his conduct at his family’s expense, to punish Angelina for leaving, and even to attempt to paint her as the reason why his relationship with the children is so challenging.”
However, a source close to Pitt loudly rebutted Jolie’s claims, telling PEOPLE the actress was more sneaky and clever in her attacks on his personality and reputation.
The person stated: “Jolie has engaged in one-sided attacks for the past eight years, including a never-ending distortion of facts and projecting their behavior onto others, causing tremendous collateral damage to those in and around the family.”
The former couple has six children: Maddox, 23; Pax, 21; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16.
The children have all cut ties with Pitt and dropped his last name. Pitt and Jolie will fight in court over their stunning and highly productive $62 million French château and vineyard, which they once co-owned.
Pitt is not ready to lose this new battle.
