The year began with some good news that Pitt was looking forward to — Jolie finally signed the divorce papers.

Now that the lengthy divorce process has concluded, the children have chosen to express their deep-seated emotions about the situation.
A source told PEOPLE Magazine that the children believed that their mother was in the right to stand up and fight in court.
The insider added: “They have wanted her to speak up for herself and defend herself over these years, but she reminds them to focus on changing laws over telling public stories.”
The children have clarified their intention; they will move forward without Pitt because he failed and hurt them.
The insider said: “She’s been trying hard to be light after a dark time. The kids have grown up seeing that some people have so much power and privilege that their voices don’t matter. Their pain doesn’t count.”
Jolie recently emphasized that her children’s privacy is essential, stating they should not be expected to discuss their personal lives in public interviews.
She told Good Morning America: “None of my children want to be in front of the camera at this time. They’re quite private. Shiloh’s extremely private. They weren’t born with privacy, right? So I hope they can have that as they grow.”
However, one of Jolie and Pitt’s children did take to social media to write a brutal post. For Father’s Day, Pax wrote: “You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want, but the truth will come to light someday. So Happy Father’s Day, you f*****g awful human being.”
