However, in a twist of events, Swift found herself unexpectedly entangled in Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni‘s legal showdown.
Justin Baldoni’s lawyer published more emails and text messages containing Swift’s name and details about her role in the ongoing scandal.

According to a source close to Swift who spoke to the Daily Mail, the artist is pulling back from the actress and lengthy court drama.

The source shared: “For the time being, she is taking a step back from Blake because she doesn’t want to get tangled in this more than she already has – which is far more than she ever needed to be.”
The outlet revealed that some of Swift’s friends believe Lively wrongly used her friendship with the artist to intimidate Justin Baldoni.
The insider stated: “Her friends also think that Blake’s “I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have dragons” text to Justin was uncool and unnecessary because she was essentially used as an intimidation tactic. She was referred to as some kind of pet or possession.”
Swift is frustrated that a friendly visit to Lively and Ryan Reynolds turned into so much chaos.

In the new text message released by Justin Baldoni’s lawyers, Blake Lively confessed something interesting about Taylor Swift and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
She wrote: “They [Reynolds and Swift] also know I’m not always good at making sure I’m seen and utilized for fear of threatening egos or fear of affecting the ease of the process.
