Ben Affleck Pushed Jennifer Lopez On A Quest To Save Herself With Mystifying Decision, According To Her Best Friend

Ben Affleck Jennifer Lopez Marriage Promise

Ben Affleck hoped to have a fairy tale ending with Jennifer Lopez. However, after two years of marriage, Lopez saw the writing on the wall and filed for divorce.

Affleck has mainly kept to himself since the brutal split. On the other hand, Lopez has spoken about the lasting impact of the divorce.

The singer and actress bravely shared that the crashing waves of humiliation and pain almost took her down for good. Still, her unwavering determination and the steadfast support of family and friends pulled her through.

One of Lopez’s closest friends, Loren Ridinger, recently interviewed with Page Six to reveal how far she had to go on her dark journey to let go of Ben Afflick and save herself.

Loren Ridinger, whose husband, JR Ridinger, passed away in 2022, said she and Lopez went through the grieving process of losing their mates.

According to Loren Ridinger, Jennifer Lopez faced the worst emotion known to humanity — she was forced to grieve the loss of the relationship, the complex and flawed man she had mistook for the perfect husband, the future she envisioned, and the blended family they were creating.

Loren Ridinger confessed: “She has been an incredible friend for me through this — and one of my longest friends. At the beginning of the book, we are going to [her] wedding, and at the end of the book, we are dealing with her grief.”

The author explained that she and Lopez believe that grief can also be applied when a person loses a relationship.

She told the media outlet: “We were able to lift each other, which was remarkable. She is so strong. She is amazing. Grief comes in many forms, and you don’t have to lose somebody to go through it. You can lose a marriage, you can lose somebody that you love, you can lose a longtime friend [after] an argument.”

The entrepreneur also revealed that “worried” Lopez sometimes FaceTimed her “20 times a day” to help her cope with the death of her late husband.

She said: “Even in tough times, she would say, ‘Today will be great for us. We’ve got the whole future ahead of us. And in times where you can’t really change your circumstances, you really need to hear that. I think it’s so important to have friends in your life who lift you up — and that’s where the rubber meets the road, where you know who your tribe is, who your group is, who is looking out for you.”

Lopez is now focused on rebuilding her love life.
