First, it is via the Anna Wintour and Vogue controversies. The Daily Mail recently announced that media executive and fashion guru snubbed Melania Trump once again and personally contacted Kate Middleton to appear on the cover of Vogue.
The media giant revealed that Middleton was given carte blanche, meaning she could pick her photographers, designers, etc.
However, Middleton turned down the offer because she preferred to become a queen of substance. When Anna Wintour was asked about Kate being on the cover of Vogue, she gave a diplomatic or cryptic answer.

The fashion editor addressed the speculation with a smile during her visit to Buckingham Palace, where she received one of Britain’s highest honors. ‘Yeah, I don’t know where those rumors have come from, do you?’ Wintour said, when asked about the reports during the investiture ceremony.”

This decision underscores her desire to shift the spotlight from her clothes to her impactful work. Many became upset over Kate Middleton’s decision to step away from her fashionista role, and according to royal insiders, Prince William has her back.
