Despite his ongoing battle with cancer and the challenges of chemotherapy, King Charles III, accompanied by his wife, Queen Camilla, undertook a significant journey to Canada. There, he delivered a resounding message to President Donald Trump: Canada is not for sale.

In a historic departure from tradition, His Majesty delivered the Speech from the Throne to the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa.

His words served as a powerful reminder of the unity of the Commonwealth, with Canada standing as a proud member.

It was the best possible option for the monarchy to stand firm against Donald Trump’s constant threats to annex the northern American country.

In his roaring speech, King Charles stated in the Canadian Parliament that the nation is under unprecedented threats and added: “We must face reality: since the Second World War, our world has never been more dangerous and unstable. Canada is facing challenges that, in our lifetimes, are unprecedented.”

King Charles spoke up for the people of Canada, who have been mentally troubled by Trump’s refusal to accept their rejection of making the country the 51st state.

King Charles said: “Many Canadians are feeling anxious and worried about the drastically changing world around them.”

The King resolutely reaffirmed Canada’s sovereignty, declaring that the “True North is indeed strong and free.”

However, moments after King Charles’s speech, Donald Trump took to social media to discuss the situation and attempt to undermine King Charles.

The president dangled an offer to the Canadian government that he believes they cannot refuse. Trump is offering the highest level of protection to the Canadian people by proposing that they join the so-called Golden Dome missile defense program.

This program, as described by AP, is a “futuristic system, if successful, would mark the first time the U.S. would place weapons in space that are meant to destroy ground-based missiles within seconds of launch.”

Trump believes the program could skyrocket to “$175 billion in total cost when it’s completed.” Taking to Truth Social, Trump made an irresistible proposition to Canada.

He wrote: “I told Canada, which very much wants to be part of our fabulous Golden Dome System, that it will cost 61 Billion Dollars if they remain a separate but unequal Nation but will cost ZERO DOLLARS if they become our cherished 51st State. They are considering the offer!”

Trump also claimed: “We’re going to have it at the highest level. Canada has called us and they want to be a part of it. As usual, we help Canada as best we can.'”

King Charles is reportedly frustrated by this conflict. Meanwhile, a spokesman for Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney responded to Trump’s post with a somewhat ambiguous message about having a conversation about the Golden Dome.

The statement read: “The prime minister has been clear at every opportunity, including in his conversations with President Trump, that Canada is an independent sovereign nation, and it will remain one. Canadians gave the Prime Minister a strong mandate to negotiate a comprehensive new security and economic relationship with the United States. To that end, the Prime Minister and his Ministers are having wide-ranging and constructive discussions with their American counterparts. These discussions naturally include strengthening NORAD and related initiatives such as the Golden Dome.”

Canada cannot afford to be too frontal with Trump.
