And most recently, Trump reignited the war against Swift by claiming that she is “not hot.” That derogatory comment sparked outrage and further intensified the conflict.
Throughout it all, Melania Trump remained silent, possibly to avoid irking her husband and the voters of MAGAland or to maintain her public image. That is, until now.
The first lady decided to utter some stunning words regarding Swift, which rattled some and left others speechless.
At a recent event at a hospital in Washington, D.C., surrounded by children, Melania Trump unexpectedly praised Taylor Swift.
Melania Trump met with many young patients at the Children’s National Hospital, where she presented them with gifts such as teddy bears and talked about their favorite artists and hobbies.
Via Yahoo, here is the exchange between the former glamour model and the children: “Everybody gets a teddy bear and more stuff, too,” she said at Children’s National Hospital. “You know what we’re celebrating tomorrow?”
“Independence Day!” one child exclaimed with excitement. Additionally, Melania asked the patients about their interests during her visit.
According to Yahoo: “What about music? Do you like music?” she inquired, to which one little girl shared, “I like Taylor Swift,” in addition to Billie Eilish, Katy Perry, and another singer whose name couldn’t be heard.”
Melania Trump went on to make the following remark about Swift. She called her “very talented,” which contrasts with the vile remarks made by Trump about Swift.
While stunned by Melania Trump’s remark, Swift has chosen to move on with her life. The pop diva is aware that any move that she makes regarding the Trump family will be criticized, and even worse, could ignite a firestorm from President Trump and his passionate Republican supporters.
Swift has no time for the Trump drama or outreach. She is focused on writing new music, settling down with Kelce, and moving past Blake Lively‘s legal chaos.
