King Charles III has received a gift from President Donald Trump, and it is the rude and nasty kind.
The President of the United States recently traveled to Europe, where he promoted himself, his billion-dollar business empire, and his accomplishments from his second term in office.
During his private trip to Scotland, Trump held an impromptu press conference for local and international reporters.
The former reality star went into a passionate rant about his second most-favored topic—immigration. It has been strongly suggested that his most-favored topic to discuss is himself.
Trump had much to say about his historical success in the field of mass deportation in the United States since he took the oath of office earlier this year.
The leader also took the opportunity to highlight the failures of UK and European politicians in their handling of immigration.
He told reporters: “On immigration, you better get your act together or you’re not going to have Europe anymore.You got to stop this horrible invasion that’s happening to Europe, many countries in Europe. This immigration is killing Europe.”
He also urged European countries to “get your act together” and praised unnamed leaders who have taken a tougher stance on immigration, saying they “are not getting the proper credit they should.”
Trump claimed: “We had zero people come into the country [last month] other than those coming through legal means. If you’re stopping immigration and stopping the wrong people, my hat’s off to you. If the boats are loaded up with bad people, and they usually are because other countries don’t send their best. They send people that they don’t want – they’re not stupid people, and they send the people they don’t want.”
Now, Palace sources have reportedly reached out to the Daily Beast and voiced concerns about Trump’s behavior during his upcoming state visit in September.
They believe that Trump’s trip to the UK will be a repeat, with even worse moments than what took place in Scotland.
It is expected to be riddled with controversial, insensitive, and racially charged moments because Trump has no decorum or penchant for the rules.
Trump is set to deliver the traditional speech at the state banquet held in his honor by the King and Queen upon his arrival.
According to sources close to His Majesty, he is dreading the meeting because he is appalled by Trump’s handling of immigration.
He is further infuriated by his rhetoric about immigrants. The Monarch’s truest desire is to be the King of all British citizens and residents of the Commonwealth.
His Majesty sees his core responsibility as promoting unity and acceptance across races, backgrounds, and religions, making Trump’s rhetoric especially frustrating for him.
A royal insider who spoke to the Daily Beast stated: “Charles has spent his entire life promoting tolerance and compassion. He will be appalled by what Trump said on Friday, which seems to be entirely driven by his domestic agenda, and will be very concerned about the possibility of a repeat of Trump’s outburst in September.”
They said: “If Trump starts sounding off about the evils of immigration to the cameras while the King is standing next to him, the King would find that hard to take.”
Donald Trump’s approach to immigration contrasts starkly with King Charles’s values, creating a challenging dilemma for the Monarch as some British citizens support Trump’s methods.
Taking to social media, some have criticized King Charles and Prime Minister Keir Starmer for not proposing a more brutal solution to the migrant issue.
