The disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who never ceases to amaze and humiliate the Royal Family, has done it again. The estranged brother of King Charles III has a habit of coming up with controversial acts and follies to amuse the gallery.
This time around, Andrew has been telling anyone who would listen that he has been busy evening the score against King Charles III and the heir, Prince William, stunning the palace with the help of his daughters, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.
Sources close to Andrew explained that he is reportedly “furious” with his brother, King Charles, for handling or mishandling the fallout of the repeated scandals, firmly believing his brother threw him under the bus. The former Duke of York is also fuming because he has been banished into royal exile in Norfolk.
Andrew is also angry and disappointed because King Charles has taken over the only important role he had left — the head of the York family.
In a bid to reassert himself, Andrew allegedly emailed his daughters, urging them not to just show their faces but to “hold their heads high.” And they did just that.
According to reports, the former prince is telling pals enough is enough with his brother’s “heavy-handedness” and is bracing to fight back in what is being dubbed a “right royal battle.”
The Daily Mail reported: “Increasingly furious at what he sees as his brother the King’s heavy-handedness, Andrew is girding his loins for a right royal battle, one which now risks turning very ugly indeed.”
A source told the outlet: “Andrew has hardened considerably of late and believes he has been used as a scapegoat. He believes that the King has exceeded his authority and acted beyond his powers. He is beginning to fight back.”
Defiance at the Royal Wedding
The outlet claimed that the powerful and jaw-dropping appearance of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie at Peter Phillips‘s wedding last Saturday was a mad plan cooked up by Andrew to make a point to the King and the heir, proving he still holds power and influence and can rattle the institution.
The sisters made sure the cameras captured their entrance as they opted for a full walk down the road to All Saints Church in the village of Kemble, compared to Kate Middleton, Prince William, and King Charles, who went straight to the entrance.
The Daily Mail reported: “This was, make no mistake, a very clear attempt to reassert their royal status after months of turmoil sparked by their parents’ dramatic fall from grace and, more recently, the shocking revelation that despite not being working royals, the privileged pair have been living rent-free in royal homes.”
Andrew believes that this bombshell leak is the “extraordinary gesture of defiance” that he was dreaming of. The former prince is also fighting for money from the Crown Estate after his lease at Royal Lodge in Windsor was cut short by his eviction in February. Moreover, he is allegedly demanding a payout from his former wife, Sarah Ferguson.

However, Prince William is saying “not so fast” because he knows exactly the games the Yorks are playing, and he is fighting back. The future king made it clear that he only embraced the York sisters at the wedding for public optics.
