Less than 48 hours after arriving in the United Kingdom, Prince Harry is right back at it—embarrassing himself, embarrassing Meghan Markle, and begging for breadcrumbs of royal validation.
The desperation is painful to watch. Royal fans across the globe are practically screaming at him to hold onto whatever tiny shred of dignity he has left, leave King Charles III and Prince William alone, and just go focus on his family, the one he created.
Reports have surfaced revealing that Harry is practically pleading with the King to allow him to participate in Remembrance Day this coming November in some capacity.
As the source revealed, “It is also understood that Harry has also suggested he wants to mark Remembrance commemorations in November when in the UK, as he has done every year while living in the United States since leaving his royal role in 2020. Royal sources suggest Harry would not be invited to attend commemorations at the Cenotaph in London, but he could potentially visit other sites such as the National Arboretum in Staffordshire.”
How many ways does this man need to be told he is simply not wanted? William has made his stance unmistakably clear—he refuses to be seen publicly with Harry and will boycott any official event if his brother is present, determined not to give the media any fake images of royal reconciliation.
A source told Yahoo: “William’s position is that Harry choosing to live in Britain again does not suddenly repair their relationship, and he isn’t prepared to appear alongside him at engagements simply to create photographs suggesting otherwise. William is clear, he believes sharing a public platform would immediately be interpreted as evidence that everything between them had been resolved. From William’s perspective, that would be completely false. Unless something changes substantially between them privately, he does not want to manufacture an image of reconciliation publicly.”
The person added: “There is still considerable anger surrounding what William believes Harry and Meghan put Catherine and the wider family through,” a royal source claimed. “His priority is protecting his wife and children, and he doesn’t believe geographical proximity creates an obligation to socialize with Harry, privately or publicly. Charles can pursue his own reconciliation with his younger son, but William is not at the same place emotionally.”
Harry has faced humiliation year after year on this exact issue. When he initially stepped down, he asked for a wreath to be laid at the Cenotaph on his behalf—only to be brutally denied.
A custom wreath he had ordered literally sat in a box at a charity headquarters because the late Queen Elizabeth II, the King, and William refused to let him dress-up as a working royal when it suited him.
To make matters more insulting, he was stripped of his military titles and banned from wearing his uniform, despite serving ten years in the British Armed Forces and completing two grueling tours in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Prince Andrew—mired in scandal—was still allowed to walk around in suit jackets adorned with military medals.
Yet, despite every door being slammed in his face, Harry, for reasons no one comprehends, keeps knocking, crying, and lamenting like a desperate outsider. In his memoir Spare, Harry laid bare his deep-seated pain regarding his family’s cold shoulder.
Confessing in the bestseller, “I was heartbroken. My family had cut me off financially, stripped my security, and taken away my military titles—the very thing that defined my sense of duty.” He even confessed to feeling the sting of rejection during royal events, stating, “I sat there feeling the coldness of the room… I realized then that the bond was completely broken, and no matter what I did, I would always be the outsider looking in.”
If he felt that hurt, why keep begging? Supporters are telling Harry he needs to follow his wife’s lead. Meghan has made it clear her focus is on her children and building their business empire.
Those close to Harry believe that he needs to stop pleading for the King’s approval, stop trying to force his way back into a system that rejected him, and focus on his kids and the charities that actually want him around.
The constant begging is not winning him any sympathy—it just makes him look deeply insecure, desperate, and incapable of moving on. It is time to pack it up, keep his head down, and finally leave his father and brother in peace.
